Bears +3 vs. Packers This Week?

I will be at this game...huge Rivalry...total is 41. Weather is supposed to be clear and around the 30 degree mark. Anyone else think this looks too good to be true? I just don't see any way the Bears don't get slaughtered. What am I missing?

Packer are overrated, I'm not sold one bit by this team. I think the Bears can win this one. Like you said, Rivalry games are always tough. The Broncos has lost the Raiders many times when having the better team going into that game, the same can happen here.

like the bears? no! possibly a good spot for them if there gonna win another gm im sure this would be the 1 they want. however im not buying that gb is overrated i think there rated about right in my eyes a very good defense a offense that at times can score in bunches. there o-line while improved is by no means impressive and they really have problems runnng the ball. which unfortunatly for the bears they have there issues running as well. i know you watched last weeks gm i didnt as i told you it would be painful. that was the rams and at 1 point forte had something like 8 carries for 12 yrds or some shit(cant recall what it actually was but you know what i mean). gb held ap in check twice ray rice on monday and damn cutler and this offense just dont get along. chi does have the fade monday night winner going for them plus the rivalry so this may just be a no play for me but i just dont think i could ride with the bears at this point....gl

Being from Chicago, and Loving Cutler. The Bears have no shot, They can't run the ball, They can't protect Cutler, and How in the Hell are practice squad receivers going to get open against WOODSON. Bears get slaughtered, especially if Briggs isn't playing(haven't checked inj report)

2DaB, you were totally right about last weeks' game. I misjudged a few key things, most notably the fact that each teams offense was actually worse than their defenses...which are both amazingly bad. This is a different animal...I likely won't play it or I'll put a small wager on it, merely because I will be in the stands. My gut just tells me the Packers destroy Chicago this week...the Monday night angle is an interesting one though.

Two things. 1. Briggs practiced today. 2. The only way the Bears win this game is if another legendary Bear dies this week (like Payton). So, keep an eye on Ditka.

GREEN BAY IS THE PLAY! Cutler is up against one of the best secondaries in the NFL and will throw 3 picks. The Bears are a worse off team defensively and offensively, then they were on opening day and the Packers are clicking on both sides of the ball. 34-20 Packers.

IF the weather is nasty like it is here now....it will be a running game. There is nasty high speed winds, and it's cold as hell. So make sure before you take any action, check the weather.

i am leaning toward GB. Offensively, I think the packers can put up more points with Jennings, Drivers.

    I lean to Packers.
Play this yrs team, not last yr's team.
Something is wrong with Bears compared to last yr, not just Cutler, a lot more, they have digressed in other categories.

I like the Packers here even though it is a rivalry game and those games do tend to be close. Cutler is horrible this year and he might just be horrible again this Sunday.

It comes down to Cutler. If he's the real deal, there's value in the Bears +3, if Cutler is another Rex Grossman then lay off...

This is a statement game for the Bears,Cutler, and Lovie. Lovie's main goal since coming to the Bears is beat the Pack! He is looking to secure his job with a win here. Cutler looked awful against GB earlier this season, and he circled this game for sure! I'll take the Bad News Bears.

Packers D has been overlooked. Fluid now under Capers scheme. Remember that these guys did not play the 3-4 last year. Took some games to figure it out. Players no longer have to think, just react, and it is showing. Lead the league in least yards given up per game. Pickens hurt but Raji ready to step in. Al Harris who? Williams playing ok but called for several PI last game. GB can only stop themselves in this one.
