    well obviously he's gonna be second string and wont get much action unless its a blowout or the first string qb gets injured


    I dont think anyone with half a brain would actually argue that he would be a bad backup, he is actually overqualified for the job

    Consdering Barkley is the only other QB, they need someone. As back-ups go, not the worst move in the world if they make it. Not too many teams are going to survive an injury to their starting QB anyhow. Barkley is still too green to be a legit #1 back-up option.

    This guy never had a chance working under that a SS hole Ryan. Not saying he's a great QB but you need an experienced backup in the nfl. Not too hard to throw 3 yard slants to McCoy, Jackson, and now sproles and watch them run
