Updated: Post your top 10 QB's of all time

    1 Peyton Manning
    2 Joe Montana
    3 John Elway
    4 Dan Marino
    5 Bret Favre
    6 Johny Unitas
    7 Bart Starr
    8 Tom Brady
    9 Otto Graham
    10 Steve Young

    Just missed
Troy Aikman, Terry Bradshaw, Sammy Baugh, Roger Staubach

    tt's thought

Peyton Manning is still the greatest QB of all time. No shame losing to perhaps the greatest D in a single season, The Seatle Seahawks. His receivers were never open and the D didn't show up. He has a ring and the records. Almost every team in the league would cut their qb to have Manning.

I don't really like comparing era's. How many here even seen Graham,Baugh,Unitas. It's a different game now and shouldn't be seen as who has the most td yards or championships.
Brady hasn't won anything since Spygate so he has dropped. You can argue 4 championships and the toughness of Bradshaw alone should put him in.

The fact marino has no superbowl rings and is in almost everyones top 5 alone tells you that championships are overrated as far as making a list of top players and that Football is a team game.

Drew Brees is a good qb but if he really thinks he is a top qb just because he had a record in this new age and their system. He needs to take a long look in the mirror and realize the nfl is different now. He is top 20 but not top 10. He could be someday.

You can stick different QB's on different teams and see a different outcome. Seatle can win 3 more superbowls the next 3 years but would anyone put Wilson as a top ten qb of all time????? The answer to that is no.

Ask any great QB and they will say that personal records are good but Championships is what you want and what defines you as a player. How come everytime Peyton has a great comeback game its all about how he is the best qb ever and when he chokes its all about making excuses?? Doesn't make sense. Of course he is one of the greats but not #1 maybe in the top 5#

Otto Graham has to be considered in the top 5 if not #1. In the old ACC Graham led Cleveland to a 47-4 record in 4 years.
When the 2 leagues merged Cleveland was supposed to have their comeuppance joining the NFL. Not so in there very 1 st year
they won the NFL championship and did so again in 3 of the 6 years until Graham retired. If rings mean anything Automatic Otto
was the cream of the crop! Having Marion Motley, Dantae Lavelli, Max Speedie, & Dub (Special Delivery Jones) BNert Jones father
sure helped but 7 rings in 10 years with Graham leading to way has to be noted as remarkable.
