Wes Welker to make OVER 5.5 receptions
I really like this prop bet for the big game on Sunday against Seattle. Why? Richard Sherman will be all over DeMarius Thomas and Seattle's cover 2 defense won't allow anything deep. Manning will have to throw short balls across the field to his receivers and hope they can break away for 5 or 6 yards after the catch on crossing routes. Welker specializes in this field.
Wes Welker probably goes 7 receptions for 76 yards.
Julian Thomas will be another receiver to watch and he should have decent match ups all day down the field. Especially in the red zone.
Just Madden 25 simulated the game and Russel Wilson ran the ball 4 times (three on the option keep) for 66 yards and Marshawn Lynch added 21 carries for 83 yards and a TD too. Russell couldn't do much in the air though as Denver's LB and secondary were hitting hard.
I ran the ball nicely with both Knowshown Moreno and Monte Ball as Knowshown got injured mid 3rd quarter. He was very good off of screen passes though to keep Seattle's front seven from over pursuing.
Seattle went 12 play and 76 yards for an opening drive TD to kick off the Super Bowl but it was all Manning and Denver's crossing route pass attacks mixed in with a balance run game and screen pass game. Denver was up 17-10 at half time.
Final Score was Denver 31 - Seattle 16. Julian Thomas has three TD receptions inside the ten yard line. Manning and Russell Wilson threw one INT each as well.
