One way to beat Peyton Manning is to limit the time he has on the field...keep him on the bench as much as possession
Easier said than done, but two of the three teams that beat Manning this year did just that .The Indianapolis Colts won time of possession 31:47 to 28:13 as did the San Diego Chargers 38:49 to 21:11.
1st the Seahawks will have to stuff the Broncos run game (they can do that) ..this will take away one of the factors that have allowed the Broncos and Manning to be so successful this year - a balanced attack-..Now you can apply more pressure on Manning..no need to blitz just keep up the pressure with the front four..because you are not going to really get to him all that much anyway with his super quick release.
Where Seattle will have to apply the real pressure is to the receivers grab, hold, bump and when they can ruff them up...( without getting too many penalties ) this will allow the great pass defenders of the Seahawks to disrupt plays and turn the ball over quicker and more often to the Seattle offense.
Now to complete this scenario the Seahawkss will have to hold on to the ball and maintain looong time consuming scoring drives.
If this happens the Seattle Seahawks will have a very good chance of beating Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, and lifting the Vince Lombardi Trophy on Feb.2nd.
