Logical big bet. Can lose of course, but I'm willing to take that risk to crack the $400 mark on the br. Risk is worth the reward.

    1/15/14 Results: Good day overall. One thing I've noticed about my thread, after looking over some of my plays, is that my record will be a mute point in the success of this thread. Record is important, yes, but some of these losses are fades to limit damage thus guaranteeing a loss. So basically what I'm saying is that the record will look worse than my actual success because I'm counting ALL my plays, even the self fades later in the game to limit damage, guaranteeing a loss no matter what. The objective of this thread is $10,000. I would prefer my record stay pretty, although in the end the money is all that matters. 3W 4L overall today. Woohoo!     I'm so mad right now. Missed out on Gallichio and Galarza in boxing. Both mega underdogs. After doing research I was sure about Galarza and hesitated on the trigger. He just destroyed the guy. Would have been a massive bump up in the br. Oh well. I think it was +375 or something like that,

    Yep. Fighting is my strength. I'm a boxer myself. I'll definitely try to put fight picks out earlier. The problem with that is that I usually make my decision a few minutes before the fight. Fighting is 90%+ mental so I usually like to wait to see where a fighters psyche is at right before walking in the ring. That's why I was so strong on Galarza because he had a much higher ko% and his mind was really focused on getting this kid out of there to further his career. That's all he kept saying leading up to the fight in his interviews. What made me hesitate is that the other guy is also undefeated and they're both unknowns. I will try to put out picks earlier though. Atleast 5-10 minutes before fights start.

    1/17/14 Results: 2W 6L overall today. Tried a new strategy early and it flopped. 6 L's in one day as a result. Still managed to get it back through a good win, but not much else. Tiny profit on the day STILL has this thread going in the right direction. I remember reading a post by one of the veteran cappers on this site that stated that being good at betting is finding what you're good at and picking your spots. I completely suck at NFL. I think fight sports is what I'm good at, but I'll wait till I have more fights picked correctly before I can say that. Pick better tomorrow. I'm mad I didn't crack $600 today. Keep grinding.
