    A couple tidbits for both NFL #1 seeds

    Since (1990) the NFL went to the 12 team playoff format the NFC # 1 seed is 19-4 all time.

    In fact the NFC #1 seed rattled off 17 straight consecutive victories until Opie's Cowboys fuked it all up in 2007.


    The AFC has not been so dominant as thier #1 seed is 13-10 and Denver has a chance to make history in the wrong way.

    They might be the first team to lose b2b years as the #1 seed.
