Panthers haven't really beaten the 49ers

If I told you Michael Crabtree, Vernon Davis, and Aldon Smith were all going to be out or extremely limited Sunday in Carolina, obviously you'd say, "HUGE advantage for the Panthers."

Well that's what happened when the Panthers played the 49ers at Candlestick and won 10-9.

Now that the team is saying Michael Crabtree, Vernon Davis, and Aldon Smith are all at full-strength and starting Sunday, obviously, you should be saying, "HUGE advantage 49ers."

The Panthers won in San Francisco earlier this season, but they really haven't beaten the 49ers yet.

    Discuss.

Edit: Edited to add a few other players that were out for the 49ers -- Pro Bowl guard Mike Iupati (knee), starting safety Eric Reid (left early with concussion), 3rd wide receiver Quinton Patton (foot), and back-up TE Garrett Celek (left early with hamstring).

panthers will be exposed this week....49ers aren't great...but panthers certainly are not either... they can't score!

kap will run for 80 and get a solid win

Agreed SF rolls in this game. Overall just a better team, and better coached team then the panthers, and they're playing good football. I rode Baltimore all playoffs last year and i'll be riding SF till they meet Seattle at home...

I think the Niners have the edge, but anytime you have two teams with mentally fragile QB's going at it, the results can be unpredictable.

Take the under here. Neither team scores much.

They ranked 11th in scoring playing in the NFC in the toughest division, especially defense, in the NFL.

Gotta love battle hardened teams like SF against "playoff rookie" teams like CAR when all the chips are in the middle.
