    week 12 best bets

    so its week 12 and im wondering what everybodys best bets are this weekend?

    I have
    Cowboys +2.5 ( might move it up to +3 )
    Panthers -4
    Ravens -3
    broncos -2.5

    May take NYG actually w Sean Lee out, he's the cornerstone of that D. And NYG/DAL stats are surprisingly similar in many categories.

    Want Den -2.5, but don't you think the refs try to make their mea culpas for last week at Denver's expense, like they did the week after the GB-SEA hail mary fiasco last year?

    Really love the over there, just waiting to see if it's going to come down even more. Both Denver and NE have been playing some better defenses lately, and thats stymied their scoring a little and given us a good opportunity with a lowish number here. Sunny (if cold) day in NE...

    Like carolina, just trying to convince myself they cover 4.5. Prolly take it if it comes back down to 4.

    Also teased NO -2.5 + SD +12 (6.5, -135 @ betonline). I know it's unconventional, but I just don't see KC blowing SD out. SD doesn't get blown out, KC doesn't blow teams out.

    Lean boys/giants > 44.5, bears/rams > 45.5, and 9ers/skins > 47 - although I think weather may screw that last one up, which is a damn shame cause fair weather I'd be in love with it.

    I've turned 250 into 3k with teasers of course there is some luck involved but if you are careful with games you pick they work for me

    i see some great picks here. I did some research and decided to lay off the cowboys-giants game, looking at the broncos-pats over, has some real value there to. Might just take broncos -2.5 then over as well

    There may be some correlation between a small away favorite and the over, if you wanted to parlay the 2. In either case, I'd wait to hear Welker and Thomas' status before taking the over. Though could live with welker and not thomas, and not sure about vice versa so the real question is if Welker's cleared. Line should jump within hours after he is though...

    Honestly don't get the allure on teasing totals, games have a kind of character - either over or under, and its not worth laying 6.5 to 1 to move those lines 13 points. Someone made a pretty good case earlier statistically for PLEASING totals for this reason. Tonight's a good example.
