Public, square, call it what you want do win from time to time, but long term public will lose.
Public winning recently sets up the public betting public some more.
Feeling here is Rams cover, public comes back down to earth, public returning what they collected plus 10 percent.

There is no more futile a betting assumption than the one that Vegas operates on short term p/l metrics.

Because while most members of the public bet different sports for different seasons Vegas is 24/7 365. Many (most) of these companies are privately owned, they don't have to issue investor information, all that matters is profitability year over year. Sports books account for a small fraction of total capitalization of these companies.

Here's all you need to know about Clemens.

The Rams called up 44-year old Brett Favre when Bradford went down.

They'd rather have a grandfather play as their QB than this guy.

Terrible backup QB... playing for a team where the receivers constantly drop balls... in an offense that can not run to save their lives against any decent dline... playing in a stadium that may be half filled with people likely more interested in the baseball game going on... playing against one of the best defenses in the league...game should be over by half time.

Seahawks win by 40 plus with Rams maybe getting a couple FGs along the way (but more likely a few pick 6's as well).

Will there be a Brett Favre sighting? Nah,LOL LOL!!!!! but desperate St. Louis did put in a call to the 44-year-old future Hall of Famer, supposedly in jest, after losing Sam Bradford for the season. In lieu of Favre, the team will go with journeyman Kellen Clemens. They also signed Brady Quinn and Austin Davis as insurance plans, using the term liberally. Seahawks wined this NFC West foe, winning 14 of the past 16, and the ’Hawks are roaring now. So many things are going right, and dynamic WR Percy Harvin (hip surgery) is close to making his Seattle debut, though it won’t be here. Marshawn Lynch has three straight 100-yard games vs. St. Louis.
***My Prediction***: Using my Formula and Analysis plus The Linemakers & Sporting News [have no association with illegal gambling,or offshore betting, Seahawks, -13 ... 28-0 in a blowout or more.... Don’t despair,SBR sports fans,World Series Game 5 is tonight, also in St. Louis. LOL LOL!!

    So........
All those who are strong on Seattle, are you pounding the second half -6.5?

    Pennies from heaven right???

Dream come true, Vegas sleeping at the wheel, surely the mighty 'Hawks will blow them out 2H by a touchdown, right?

Bet it up, pound it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clemons will play better than Bradford played all year this week. His job depends on it because he has Brady Quinn on his shoulder. Its Rams or nothing.
Great analysis. I think I will play on it.
