    Thursday night football props..something odd here?

    So my book has the following double play props and I find a few very odd.

    Buccaneers 1h/ game- +500
    Buccaneers 1h/panthers game- ev
    Panthers 1h/panthers game- +400
    Panthers 1h/ buccaneers game- +500
    Tied 1h/ bucs game- +200 (odd?)
    Tied first half/ panthers game- +500 ??

    yea its really weird. I guess I am gonna play Bucs win 1st half and Panthers win, and Panthers win 1 h panthers win and hope it isnt tied.

    Buccs 1h panthers game at EV seems like a horrible bet, unless from following these teams they have it going in opposite halves (haven't checked). The team who wins the first half has a better shot at the game... You also generally don't want to play contrary propositions on an event at anything less than +900 except for special circumstances IMO cause you're cutting into your odds on both props.

    Would have loved that panthers 1h/game +400 though, what book?

    its a local. I think Im gonna play 200 on bucs first half and 200 on this panthers prop. If panthers win first half I think they will win the game thus netting me 600. If the bucs win the first half then I just break even and lose the 10 dollars juice. But it could also middle as well. What do you guys think of playing it out this way?

    rethinking it I may go 500 on each...Bucs first half and panthers first half and game prop. Bucs win first half its a draw and if panthers win first half then I have a chance to decide if I want to let it ride for a 1500 dollar payout or hedge out at halftime live.

    Panthers are 6-0 ATS in the 1H that's why this is really weird to me that Bucs 1H/Panthers game is even, I don't expect that to be the result

    Yea I think it is very odd too hence the title. I mean maybe I'll get buried but I really like Carolina to find a way to win this game tonight. I took Carolina 1h/ game for 5u and bucs +3.5 1st half for 5u. Hopefully Carolina blows out Tampa first half and I collect the prop winnings. If not maybe it middles or I just break even. Worst case is buccaneers win their first game and absolutely bury the hell out of me. Which on second thought, it could very well happen with the way my luck has been going with the nfl.

    Well I think Car 1h/game +400 is great so I wish you luck. Really don't like Buccs 1h/panthers game at EV, glad you got Buccs +3.5 1st half instead, that's obviously a better bet. Still hate contrary props myself (I know you could middle, but def. a negative correlation there).

    yea I know I probably wont middle. I'd be happy with the 1475 winning or nothing. Hopefully the bucs dont win this damn game.

    Pretty clear they meant bucs1h/panthers game to be +400 and panthers 1h/panthers game to be ev... Nice lick though. I've always said sometimes it pays to check the props.
