    Giants -3 -130 Monday Night

This is available at 5 Dimes, as is -3.5 +100. I locked into -3 -125 last week. The Giants are facing a pass defense that is worse than theirs here as the Vikings rank 30th out of 32 teams in pass defense allowing over 300 yards per game. The Giants may be averaging only 17 points per game, but that is mainly due to turnovers (Eli 15 picks in 6 games - YIKES!), as they still have an excellent receiving corps in Cruz, Nicks and an emerging Randle and they rank ninth in the NFL in passing offense. I think G-Men put up points relatively easily here as long as Manning throws to the right team. Key is on the other side of the ball, where Giants defense is bad but not quite as bad as the numbers because of all the turnovers forcing them to defend short fields. I think Giants will commit to stopping AP and the run and dare Josh Freeman to beat them through the air, and I think the net result of that is the Giants getting their first win of the year.

    Sunday: 4-3, +0.93

    YTD: 35-21, +12.79

Why get cute here with picking a side. The over is the safest bet.

I think if, and it is a big IF, the Giants can manage to not turn the ball over they should win this game by at least a touchdown. There are a few teams that are actually pretty good (Pitt, San Diego, NY Jets) if they don't get killed in the turnover battle.
It is likely a no play for me because the Giants haven't proven they can not turn the ball over, but if it is going to happen this might be the spot facing a Minnesota team at home. Best of luck LT.

This is the prototypical no bet situation.

Two terrible teams in primetime, and the only reason I am looking at it is because it is MNF.

Nobody has any idea how Minny will look.
If you're betting NYG, you have to be betting that they have an anomaly of a game.

Good luck to those who lay money in this game, I will be live betting this if anything.

Get a feel for Freeman. If the odds are too terrible to take then, so be it.

These two teams give up the most points in the league. Giants at 35 a game and Vikes at 32

Giants near the back end at rushing yards allowed, Vikes in the bottom 3 of passing yards allowed. Both the opposing teams strength.

Turnovers will come and short fields will come with them.

NYG should be able to move the ball fairly easily. Viking secondary is in shambles.

Biggest pass game if I've ever seen one. Both teams sucking the proverbial donkey Dick.

And how have they both been on offense? Just because they give up a lot of points doesnt mean they score a lot of points.

Averages combined, 42 a game offensively

When taking into account the turnovers and short fields I see the over being a good value play

Scoring 42 a game vs giving up 67 a game?

Well I got -3 at -125, so fairly cheap for the keyest number in the NFL. But at -130, yes could go either way.

Giants can score against this D, just not sure if the Vikings can without a monster game from AP which the Giants are sure to game plan against. Lean on Giants TT O26, but no trigger pull yet. Already on Giants -3

Absolutely. Better things to do than sift through garbage for meaningless angles.

The proposition is that you either win some money or lose both money and self-respect. No bet.

    So lets get this straight.

Just about everyone here at SBR loves the Giants including the respectable LT.
My pools are 80% Giant backers.
Everyone in my office loves the Giants, including those who know nothing about football.
The world is on the Giants, well except my local he needs the Vikings.
How many will be chasing the Giants tonight, to get out from a rough weekend...tons

This is a perfect spot for the bookmakers to knock out many players.

Shitty game with 2 garbage teams, really no reason to bet it,but it is MNF
so i'll bet a bit on the horrid Vikings to stay within 3.5 of the ugly Giants and to pummell
    the public.

Freeman? A week after being signed?

There OLINE is putrid. Weak recieving corps. Putrid defense.

    Yes

    I despise them.

However, they still have a very talented receving group. a 2 time super bowl winning qb and a coach that his team most certainly has played for.

This is all to familar for eli and the gmen (terrible season start)

They have played a difficult scheduele.

Dallas, Denver, KC and Carolina are all great football teams.

Very simple. If Eli does not throw more than 1 INT they win by DD
