MNF Miami vs New Orleans - Post Your Play/Why

Miami is +7 at the moment and the o/u is (48)
post your play and why here and let's see if we can get a consensus to kill the books tonight. I have been back and forth a few times on this one, just want to see where some of the sharp SBR members are at on this one.

I took Fins ML, I think they will surprise tonight, Tannehill and his receiving core are really gelling now and I think it's worth 1unit at least

7 a pretty big number considering aints were only -7 to zona last week, granted they smashed them but still making fish and cardinals the same number doesnt make a lot of sense to me..i do think saints win and my range is anywhere from 4-10 points so dont love the spread either way..my range on the total is better tho and think there some value in the under as both teams can play defense and this a really high total,, i made it 43-47 so under where im at..

i like the under. and leaning miami +7. saints have played shitty teams, barely scratched out a win at home against atlanta. miami defeated the colts, who are a playoff caliber team right now and the browns. miami had trouble but managed to beat atlanta too . who have the saints beaten, the bucs and cardinals oh no !

    take the pts

Small play Saints -7, medium play under, too lazy to explain why.

ALL IN Saints -7. Been stuck around the same level of bankroll for a week now, one way or another that will change. Prepared to go down with the ship if it happens. (I know i should have bought down .5 but i can't with my book, i know its shitty)

LETS GO BREES! LETS GO SAINTS!!!

I love how the books come up with these lines...lol

Saints average 2 TD's per game and 2 field goals this season = 20 points
Miami averages 1 TD per game and 2 field goals this season = 13 points

    VUALA!! -7

But they open it at -6 knowing that the public will pound the fav and push it back to -7.

Miami defense aint that great. Saints will probably score 23 or 27
Miami will probably sit tight at 13

No play. Absolutely no value in any of the lines associated with this game. Yes everything is 50/50, but if you have no edge as in inside info, injuries, or trends, you should stay away from this game. Novice bettors and those that sport bet as a hobbie will follow the chalk where ever it goes. Those that see sports betting as a business will always look for value and edges.

    Good luck

sound like a better case for the under than saints if ya ask me.. i agree with the saints total, 23-27 bout what i have, i put fish higher tho, of coarse im on under so id be thrilled if they really only scored 13 (i have more like 17-20 for them)..

Saints win by 13-18 points +350.

And the under 49 that's what it's at.

    27-10 final score saints.

    Goodluck.

Saints - 6 1/2 for me . Also, last leg of 7 team 6 1/2 pt teaser with Saints at pick. Been hot, but those dirty birds got me last night.

Reasons, Saints strong at home. 11-1 ats when hosting a foe off a ats win. 11-1 ats as non-div home fav against opponent off a win. (Courtesy of Mr Lawrence) I only put a little weight into above.

I put more weight into this- Fish 2-9 ATS last 11 MNF games. FINS HAVE BEEN OUTGAINED IN EVERY GAME THIS SEASON.

Saints 11-0 ATS @ HOME UNDER PAYTON SINCE 2011.

Brees loves primetime, this will be Tannehills first NFL primetime game.

    Saints # 3 offense, Fish #25 (-53ypg)

Can the Dolphin O @ #25 do enough to cover the TD in Nawleans? My cash says no.

    If I hadn't bet, I would consider paying a little xtra juice to get off 7. I'm seeing Saints -7 -103, -6 1/2 -119. Just in case.

    Saints roll tonight. gl

The stats page I was using was all screwed up. Miami averages 2 TD's per game.....not 1. Still, the difference is 1 TD.

    27-20 is more realistic.

People are overthinking this game.. dont penetrate with one of the top 5 quarterbacks in the nfl at home. Saints-7 book it.

Looks like if you like Saints...Play is over.

If you like fish play is under.

I thinks NO will cruise by a couple of TD's and I like the over.

Mia +17 to close out a teaser. I thought it'd be better not to cross the zero and a 17 point murder on MNF doesn't sound too exciting.

For a straight up play I'm leaning Mia ml but I'll probably let my teaser ride.

Under 48.5 and saints -7. The line has nothing to do with predicting the score its all about getting people to bet equally so that's why they would be -7 against the cards and -7 against the dolphins. With saints d playing as well as they have been I can't see the dolphins scoring more then 17. Saints 27-13.

Not one to normally take props but Over total sacks (4.5) is too tempting to not take. Both Qb's have gotten sacked A LOT this year

dolphins did draft Dion Jordan third overall. Derick Shelby's behind Wake and I like what I've seen from him. Vernon played well last year when they gave more playing time at the end of the year. Starks is a top 10 DT in the league. Odrick i don't expect a lot from but he has his moments. they might move him to DE where he played okay last year.

that unit is deep, well coached and has been for years. I'm more worried about our backers in coverage. and of course our secondary.
