I think there is a greater chance both will not play. I will wait until before kickoff before I make any moves.

Where did you read probable on either guy? Source?

I read on rotoworld that Rice plans on practicing today and "hopes" to play this week. I heard Gronk is 60/40 to play.

Ray Rice is a bit overrated IMO. He isn't a huge part of that offense. Rice is a better receiver than Pierce, but Pierce is a better runner. Gronk with the way Patriots receivers has looked Gronk can make a huge difference. Reggie Bush is either going to be Darren Sproles who couldn't make it work anywhere except when he got to New Orleans or just another Lions RB. With the Lions past I am saying he will just be another Lions RB.

If you think that Pierce is a better runner than Rice I'd suggest you cash out all accounts and just donate to the Red Cross.

Ravens running back Ray Rice returned to practice today and said he plans to play Sunday, making his return after missing one game with a strained left hip flexor.
Rice was close to playing in Sunday's 30-9 win over the Houston Texans, but he was held out one week after getting hurt without being hit during a win over the Cleveland Browns.
Rice told The Baltimore Sun that he intends to play Sunday.

Nothing is official until 1hr before game time when the inactives are announced. Unless they do well in warm up sessions they won't play. Gronk was practicing last week and still didn't play.

I guess it's a matter of weather you consider a 60% chance of playing probable or not.

Pierce averaged 4.9 yards a carry and Rice averaged 4.4 yards a carry last year. I watch the Ravens all last year. The problem with Pierce is he cannot catch the ball so he is a blocker if they pass. With Rice you have a blocker, receiver, and rusher. In the current NFL most running backs are looked for blocking ability and receiving ability before rushing ability.

I would almost 100% say Gronk will start.

The news I care about is when Amendola will be back which could very slightly be this week, but I anticipate next week.

I still don't see an official status as probable. Not sure what "Sports Options" is but no other site has them listed as probable. I still think Rice is 50/50 to play. Just because Rice said he plans on playing, doesn't mean he will. Last week Vernon Davis said early in the week that he would play against the Colts and he never suited up.

Sports Options is a line service, they probably know the scoop before the official injury reports come out.

What's interesting is that this opened as a pick here in Vegas and now it's Atlanta -2.

Why do you think that is?

From what I see, looks like a good % of money are coming in on ATL..

One thing I've always learned is.. When Brady doesn't look good and down, and he's about to go on national TV.. in this case Sunday night... Don't go against him, he's going to torch your wallet.. I predict 4 TDs by Brady..

Yep. And a lot of that money is sharp money on Atlanta. The public doesnt budge a line like that by noon the next day. That's wise guy cash pushing it around.
