i have yet to cash in the 3 weeks.

    lost 260, 335, and now 460.

do i stop for a while or keep trying to break my string of bad luck? i cant even pick a winning horse these days.

Take a break bro. Even if cash is not your problem still take a break. This will clear your mind and you will be able to focus and think more clearly. Playing on tilt... It's free money for the books. Take about a week off.

just bet double each week until you win. you're already increasing your bets. even the worst bettor will eventually win one week. when you finally do, you'll be even

don't chase your losses with larger bets trying to catch up. That will most likely be a bad idea. I would take a week off like someone already suggested. It's a long season so just inch your way back.....good luck

This is a great theory if you have an endless supply of money, and if you did you probably wouldn't be trying to make money sports betting.

Guy's probably asking for advice because cash-flow is running low. 'Bet bigger' isn't the best advice.

Take a week off bro. Go through the same capping process next week and lock in your air-bets. If your picks would have got you in the green, play the next week with some free confidence.

If your picks would have put you at a loss, you'll feel great about not losing your cash.

Continue this process until your picks turn into winners. The key here is to pick confidently and not play on tilt like Kevin101 said.

If you air bet next week and sweep the board you'll only feel worse.

Not as bad as he'd feel if he plays the board and gets smashed for a 4th week in a row.

In circumstances like this where people ask a question with the answer in it, they're looking for confirmation. Sounds to me like OP wants to sit for a week and stem the bleeding, and not losing money while you're on tilt is much preferable to not winning money.

Just my opinion. OP can do what he likes with his decision.

Seriously, just bet less. Many books allow $25 minimums, or just play fewer games. Start off with a few and if profitable continue. Be more choosy on what you play.

Reduce # of wagers and bet size until you start seeing games more clearly.

If you take next weekend off, you'll hit every bet you didn't make.

its the teasers that are killing me...last week i needed saints/bucs over 34.5...and they score 30. this week..houston +10.5..and they lose by 19. its unbelievable! i was thinking just betting denver -3.5 first quarter or the over 9.5. but with my luck it will be 6-3 at the end of 1

I lost a week and a half ago and took a break. It helps, I think. Books would much rather you chase and panic. It plays right into their hands.

How are you lifetime? If you're up a substantial amount life time, I can't see why you'd worry about a few weeks of bad results. If you're down, you should have quit long ago if it's been more than a couple years.

Just bet what you would call expendable income and
    or entertainment money.

And as long as you are not accumulating debt just have fun with it.

Roll with the punches and learn from your mistakes.

Just continue to learn from your mistakes and trust your gut.

Losing sucks but its important to not take it so seriously
that you let it keep you from enjoying life.
