Think 9/11 will play a role into the way the JETS play tonight?

    Just a hunch...

9/11 was a tragic event, but to think it can have some sort of emotional effect on the Jets' effort level, playing on the road, just because it's the 12th aniversary, is laughable.

    Next question.

Honestly no, I feel like a lot of people think that. They said the same thing about the celtics after the Boston Bombing along with the bruins (in the bruins defense they did go pretty far but the Blackhawks embarrassed them in their own home rink) They also coined the giants to win after sandy hook as well and i dont believe they did all that well. so in conclusion no, I don't think it makes a difference in the end.

Very different situations. The Colts' situation occured within the team's environment, it's a series of events that shook the whole organization. Much easier for Colts players to find motivation in Chuck's battle with cancer than Jets players in a tragedy that took place in 2001.
