Got to do something at QB there. Ship Gabbert out for a cheeseburger and at least use Henne.

I wasn't impressed with Gabbert at Missouri. I guess he just had the look, but as a NFL qb, I don't know what they were looking at beyond the physical attributes.

Yeah he's alot better.....Gotta run spread-read option offense though

As a "normal" NFL QB Tebow is terrible, but if you run an offense around his strengths he's adequate

cant fall behind in a game by more than 10 pts tho. otherwise they will have 8 in the box and tebow would never be able to beat them deep

Who cares they both suck and have no business being Nfl quarterbacks. If you bring Shebow on yeah it would create some buzz ,sell more tickets, and give dipshit Bayless something to talk about for awhile. However after he loses 4 straight and his supporters finally get it thru their thick heads he was a flash in the pan gimmick the party will be over. As a GM trying to run a business your job should be to create the best long term solution that will better your team.

    McMurphy...

    Nov 6 2011

    Broncos run past Raiders 38-24

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) -- Tim Tebow took the snap, put the ball in Willis McGahee 's belly and decided whether to hand it off or keep it for his own run.

Those plays looked a lot like what he did so often in college - especially the results.

Tebow threw two TD passes and ran for 117 yards, McGahee added 163 yards rushing and two more scores and the Denver Broncos beat the Oakland Raiders 38-24 Sunday.

Tell me Tebow fans who did he really ever beat besides Pitt? A bunch of bad teams and mostly backup Qb's that is fact. And how many stupid lucky miracles were involved to win a few of those? Only reason he beat Pitt was because they threw a 8 and 9 man front at him all game like he was an 8th grader and he burned them with a whopping 11 completions I believe vs single coverage. Any 3rd string bum in the nfl should be able to make those throws. And his yardage 316 or whatever was deceiving cause it was mostly all yac yards with no safety help.

This is true. If you tailor your offense around his running, you might not murdered every game. But does a team want to just be adequate or do they want to build something worthwhile. Oh, who am I kidding, the Jags are hopeless. Might as well have some entertainment balue with Tebow. I think if he ever started a whole season he'd get hurt.

Yeah Sam I watched that game and we were in total control up 2 scores and going for more when Carson in his 1st start off the couch threw 1 off Denarius Moore's fingertips inside Denver's 20. Ball was returned to midfield and very next play Willis goes for 50. Total momentum shift but like I said Oakland wad not good anyway and it was Carson's 1st game. So who did he beat again?

I get your point Sammy but this is the Nfl not the Wwe! These teams cannot rely on gimmicks to rebuild and no gm or coach is gonna want to stick their neck out and lose their job over this guy.

Another point people miss is defense. There is this huge misconception that Denver had such an amazing defense that year and they did not. Yeah when looking at the scoreboard and seeing they were only giving up 10-14 pts most of those weeks it looks like they were the 2000 Ravens. But seriously Miami offense =shit, Queefs with Palko = shit, Jets with Sanchize= shit, Bears with Haney = shit etc etc. What happened vs the Pats in Jan? Oh yeah the dam burst and they got flooded! You just cannot win in the Nfl with a Qb who plays like shit for 57 minutes and does not produce pts. Unless you have the 85 Bears or 2000 Ravens defense and they obviously don't come around often that elite!

Why would he get hurt? He never really has and he's built like a tank

I'm not some huge Tebow fan-boy but I really think if a team decided to go "all-in" on the Tebow-Gators offense, they'd make out OK.....Have to add a few speed-wing backs, an athletic tight end, faster and smaller o-linemen, one or 2 tall deep threats at WR

No one has or will ever have the balls to do it, so it's a moot point

Think with the right personnel and coaching around him, Tebow could lead a decent NFL offense that sure as hell beats the current Jags offense......

    Oh well

Wow ML Dawg would you like a yacht to go with that laundry list as well to accommodate Tebow lol? You pretty much just described Denvers offense led by Elway in the late 90's. Obviously truly elite QB's are hard to find but if I had that kind of offense going with a guy that could at least throw and run like Kap or RG 3 would make more sense.

I don't mean all-stars at every position, just the type of players you would need in that offense to be successful

Tebow is not close to ideal for the NFL but him in an offensive system that uses his strengths sure as hell beats trying to win with Blaine Gabbert

Agree to a point but why build anything at this level around a 1 dimensional guy who cannot throw or read a defense? Read post #28 I wrote as well if you have not already. It's not just the offense you have to provide to accommodate him it's an all time great D as well. A Tebow led team that gets down 14 pts is toast end of story. I like the guy (sort of) as a person. He seems like a good genuine human and an all time great college athlete. But I'm just sick of the hype and special treatment he gets. Not all great college Qb's are cut out for the big show there is a list that's a mile long and he's on it.

tebow is a better fit for 30 to 40% of the teams in the nfl than the starters that are in the game today

I bet all 15 people who went to that sign Tebow rally will buy tickets if they sign him.
