    SEA -3 Great Value Pick

Most "sharps" will see this as a huge "square" bet, but I think there is a lot of value here. The Seahawks are a playoff level team and they are motivated. The Panthers on the other hand, are a horrendous team.

The value is there based on the fundamentals alone. Definitely worth at least an one unit bet.

For the record, I also like the following plays:

    NYG +3.5
    SF -4.5

Would rather bet the under if Seattle's game and wouldn't put money on the giants yet

Panthers are "horrendous" based on what? They won 5 of their last 6 to close 2012. They were 2 yards away from beating Seattle last year and a yard away from sweeping the Falcons. They have one of the most underrated front 7s in the NFL and a revamped WR corps with Ted Ginn and Domenik Hixon complementing Steve Smith. Who isn't motivated to play Week 1? Is that really your reasoning behind this pick?

Seattle has been KILLING teams. I don't see it stopping here.

I'm not sure if I will be betting any of those games. If I had to take a side, I would take the following: Broncos, Bucs, Bears.

I also like the UNDER for this game as well. Could make an interesting parlay...

I agree, the line would easily be -9.5 to -10.5 if this was in SEA.

Carolina is pretty good up front defensively so they could give Lynch problems and Seattle hasn't proven they can play well consistently on the road. Newton looked bad in preseason but I'd be scared of this one either way.

The Seahawks come through. I like SEA -3 VS SF for next week too.

Sea -3 vs SF is a bad pick.. IMHO the value here is at SF ML. 49ers are out to prove something this year (coming from a Seahawks fan)

For me, too early to jump on a line. For one, I like to watch the lines, but I also like to wait and see the injury report and the injury news. If Seahawks can get Avril and Clemons back on the edge, I think they should cover this. If not, hard to see the Hawks defense having much success against Kaep.

I'll probably have to bet this game regardless because I'm going to be at it. You can't go to a sporting event without laying some kind of money on it. That just doesn't make sense.....

Jumped on the SEA -3 +105. The Seahawks are beastly in Seattle.

I also did like the following four teams in a tease:

    BAL -0.5
    GB -1.5
    PHI - 1.5
    ATL - 0.5

Think I agree but SEA at home is something I haven't quite figured. Also trying to decide if SEA's game was an aberration. Cheers
