What is your prediction for this team this season?

I say they will be 8-8 this year and do what they normally do, which is start out slow and finish strong and go on a winning streak after they lose their 8th game.

They always start playing well after they are eliminated from the playoffs. They can't win a game when they are supposed to , to save their lives.

But as soon as the game does not mean anything they will play extremely well.

    Their strengths...

QB Cam Newton- Guy is raw but the sky is the limit for this guey.

Front 7- They have a very solid group of defensive line-man and Linebackers

    Their weaknesses

Coaching- Ron Rivera and offensive coordinator Shula may be the 2 worst coaches in the NFL.

    Offensive Line- Awful. Absolutely terrible.

Secondary- Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, and the other elite QB's on the Panthers schedule have gotta be licking their chomps.

Seattle -3 is looking like a really solid play.

How does Seattle handle flying across the country for a 1pm game?

The O-Coordinator Shula is in over his head.

I feel like owner Jerry Richardson does not care about winning.

Thats why he hired cheap coaches.

He cares more about the stadium renovations.

well since its the 1st game of the season i dont think it will be a big deal.

I'm sure they will get a few days early to adjust to the time zone change.

I was at the Panthers / Seahawks game last year and it was almost half Seahawks fans surprisingly.

If the Seahawks have any pass rush whatsoever they will cover.

I see them 5-11, with wins coming against Cardinals, Rams, Bucs, and Saints. They will win one other game during the season, but I can't see them doing much more than that.

Buy Panthers -1.5 @ Cardinals week 5, NOW!

unless the Seahawks are gonna arrive in Charlotte 2 days early, take the Panthers + the points in the 1pm E kickoff week 1.

The under 8.5 wins at DSI looks tasty even with the -150 juice.

Not sure why everyone is so high on them this year, 2nd half they might win like 2 games.

Saints will be Saints again, division is tough, Niners, Patriots, Giants, Seattle, destruction.

ARI, OAK, SDG, SFO and SEA are 13-13 SU and 9-17 ATS as Road Fav in 1pm E kickoffs.

in the last 2 seasons the 49ers have gone 2-0 SU & ATS when mini-camping in Youngstown, OH days prior to a 1pm E kickoff matchup(+10 @ PHI and -3.5 @ NYJ).

Agree with this. I was hesitant to bet them all off-season, but I booked it at -2.5 today because I like the number and I think they'll get down there early. Reason I didn't like them before was they are missing so much of their pass rush in Irvin and probably Clemons as well. That's 20 of last seasons sacks.

Gold is right. Also Cam has no receivers. Steve Smith is great but is too short to be a number 1 receiver. I say at least 9 maybe 10 of their regular season games go under. Don't see them having a post season.

    yep.

Steve Smith is no Julio Jones.

    He is a midget.

Play the Panthers 1st half. West coast teams traveling east for the early game always start slow.

I love how the argument is always "Cam has no weapons around him" but the Panthers have managed a top 12 offense in his first 2 seasons. Had a top 10 defense last year and has been improved this year. Could be a sleeper team this year, but that first game is crucial to the way the season will play out.
