EP36's 2nd Half Hail Marys
2nd halves have been the niche I carved out in NFL & NCAA in the past couple seasons. Pre-season of course is a mish mosh of who the F knows what might happen, so these pre-season selections are all just to win 0.5 unit each since there is heavy rotation of the players.

Pushed on the Rams-Browns thanks to a late TD. They went for two and did not get it, XP would have got the W - but it's one of the things you give and take with preseason games. Happy to pull out the push with a big 4th.

I'll take that. Just don't go overboard with these, be plenty of games where the educated guesses won't go right. Regular season is easier to make decisions in my opinion because the tempo and personnel basically are something you can get a read on in the 1st half. These games with the revolving personnel, 1st half and 2nd half can be entirely different.

Perfect Example tonight. 800 yards of offense, but Pats-Eagles flat lined in the 2nd half with 15 pts.
Eagles had a chance to punch it in on the last play and they run some lame shit straight into the middle and get stuffed. Well 1-1 tonight. Will look at the Cowpukes-Gayders for later.

LoL. Even in the preseason, I find that when I bet on my boys games (Eagles) that things get f-ed up. Damn Henry misses a FG which looks like it would have at least made it 3-3 in the 2nd half and a push barring something here late. Last week, Eagles had a chance to punch the ball in on the last play to get the 2nd half over done and they sucked it up.
Today's game seemed eerily similar to last season. Move the ball up and down the field and mostly F up with turnovers at the end of the drives instead of getting points.
Need a turnover to set them up deep in Panthers territory.
