Arrest Warrant for 49ers Ahmad Brooks
Several news agencies reporting that authorities have obtained a warrant application for linebacker Ahmad Brooks on possible assault charges against teammate Lamar Divens. Conflicting information as to whether or not the judge-signed warrant has been served, or even if the charges will be dropped.
49ers are reportedly aware of the situation but have no comment at this time. Last year, Brooks signed a six-year contract extension with worth $44.5 million, with $17.5 million guaranteed.

This from the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office today:
-Ahmad Brooks will not face criminal charges stemming from an alleged assault of 49ers teammate Lamar Divens due to insufficient evidence.
Brooks could still be disciplined by the NFL under the league's personal conduct policy, unless there's "insufficient evidence" that is.

Totally agree, but looks like Brooks is gettin' away with it. It appears that in 49er land, the term West Coast "Offense" has taken on a whole new meaning if favor of alleged criminal activity.Originally Posted by aman86
