If you're looking to isolate a few attractive over/under plays on this week's card, please consider the following...
INDIANAPOLIS/JACKSONVILLE - UNDER 45
The Jags want to start the season off on the right foot. Against Indy the game plan will be to run Maurice Jones-Drew as much as possible, control the clock, and keep Manning off the field. It's a good plan on paper. Let's hope it works. This total should never reach the 40s.
TAMPA BAY/DALLAS - OVER 39
Gotta believe that the Cowboys would love to put up a few points today so the press doesn't start talking about how they miss T.O. Look for Dallas to prevail, but not without a fight. Say...Dallas, 24-21.
PACKERS/CHICAGO - UNDER 46-
The Packers played the preseason like they had Vince Lombardi back prowling the sidelines. Their offense was clicking on all cylinders. And, of course, everyone knows about Cutler now being a Bear. Question is, who's he gonna throw to?? This is the regular season now and 46- is a lot of points for week one. Pack, 23-20.
