Merriman alone seems to have been worth the trade in itself. Having Rivers be as good as he is just sweetens the whole thing.

brees has had a good year but most of his passes that i have seen have been little dump and screen passes and his recievers do the work
Why not take advantage of your receivers speed? He has a great game plan to work with.
o i completly agree, i think its the best plan 4 them but rivers isnt to bad either and lt carries his load so actually both rivers and bress r better then eli in my opinion
