    Boldin traded to niners

For a 6th round pick. Why the fukk didn't the rams give a 5th round? What a steal.

If true, I've never understood these NFL trades, if your 6th round pick ever gives you the production that Boldin would, wouldn't that be considered a great success. Hell if a third rounder had Boldin's numbers last year, I think you'd be happy.

Report: Ravens trade Anquan Boldin to 49ers

Posted by Mike Florio on March 11, 2013, 4:18 PM EDT
Well, at least Boldin will still be able to say “Harbaugh” after “Coach.”
Not long after we reported that the Ravens are trying to trade receiver Anquan Boldin, they did.
According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens have shipped Boldin and his $6 million salary to the 49ers for a sixth-round pick.
It’s not a surprise. The Ravens weren’t going to pay Boldin $6 million, and Boldin wasn’t going to take a pay cut.
Boldin still won’t take a pay cut. The difference is that the 49ers have the cap space to afford Boldin — along with a significant need for wideouts behind Michael Crabtree.
The move sends Boldin from the team coached by John Harbaugh to the team coached by his younger brother, Jim.

    Niners and Seahawks getting better.

Rams, sitting on their asses. Oh wait they did trade the rights to RG3 last year.

I sort of like what the Rams are doing, there isn't a single move they can make to be super competitive this year or next, so whats the hurry.

But I think ANY team in the league with half a brain would part with a 6th round pick for Boldin and 6 million dollars added to the books, unless they are super short on cash.

    No its not.

We need another deep threat. And 6 mil is pretty cheap for us...we have enough cap space.

Good luck getting a deep threat from a slot receiver.
