    I have Baltimore Ravens +800 to win Superbowl...do I hedge?

    I put 220.00 on Baltimore Ravens to win Superbowl a few weeks back do I hedge ? Should I or fukk it let it ride .opinions are appreciated here

    You have an oppurtunity to win $560. If you put two hundred on Ravens, they can lose and still cover. I only hedge if I have to have the win. If bowl season and playoffs have treated you well, take the extra gamble with a bit of insurance with Ravens and the points to only lose $20. Could be $760 profit. If you liked em two weeks ago stay with the gut and goodluck.

    I've got ravens futures at +1100 and +850. I'm leaning Baltimore ML, so I probably just won't bet it, and let my futures ride. From a financial perspective on gambling, you've got Baltimore at +800 to win this game, when the real line is somewhere between +150/+200. That's an extremely +EV situation, so you would only hedge if you think niners ML has value.

    amount you wagered on it is to your bankroll. Example you wagered
    $100 to win $800, would place just enough $ on 49ers ML to get
    your original funds back, I can see that.

    doing that is just another bet, because if the 49ers are up by a TD at half,
    they will be even more expensive. He would need a substantial Ravens lead
    at half to get the ML hedge at a more advantageous price than now.

    What i think ill do is hedge my 220 only if Ravens get up big before halftime so i wouldnt have to shell out much....49rs have a way of coming back fast late in game so i will take a gamble and probably leave it alone untill game time..I hope ravens punch 9nrs in mouth...so live ml goes +800 SF lol...

    SF +203 and I'm thinking about hedging. Flacco just has that Eli hot streak glow right now plus their O-line isn't letting anyone touch him. SF is better but this is close to a tossup imo. GB>Pitt and Giants + points were easy...this one isn't.

    LOL, yea wait until halftime when the Ravens are down 2 or more td's. Then you would have to lay what -1500 or so. There hasnt been this big of a sinch betting oppurtunity since Obama was elected over McCain in 2008. Its gonna be like Men playing against boys in this one.

    If you were a real sharp like me you got them at +4000 when they were at their lowest ebb. I've already layed it off and hedged for a guranteed $4000+ profit. And I'll be putting some of that on the 49ers ML and spread. Well before squares like Paulapoker got on the bandwagon.
