Bradshaw, Montana, Brady all have 6 road wins if you count the Super Bowls.

Super Bowls don't count. Neutral site for both QBs.

So only 2 QBs in history have got to 3 Conference Championship games in their first 5 seasons, yet you're arguing this guy somehow isn't yet elite?

I can name at least one other QB, so there's at least 3, maybe more.

It can't be much more than that. The point is, he is already in elite company.

Eli is the best road qb at 5-1. Would love to see flacco win.

Played in 2. 0-2. Going to play in his 3rd, but hasn't played yet.

in 2008 their was NO competition in the AFC... it was the play of their defense etc that lead to the upset of the #1 seeded Titans, no Pats that year, Manning was on one leg for the early part of the season... thus had to go on the road as a Wild Card vs SD which is a team that had the Colts #. Brady was injured 2008.

They beat the Dolphins in the WC, which was like beating the Colts this year. Not a big deal. Then they upset the Titans but the Titans basically choked... Flacco was a rookie and his stats sucked big.

Then they finally ran into the only threat in the AFC, the Steelers... and lost like they should have.

NOT IMPRESSIVE AT ALL to get to the AFCCG.

2009 he got a road win @ NE because the Pats gave up in week 17 after Welker was injured... they shutdown Moss and it was OVER, Pats D sucked. Instantly went into Indy and put up 3 points.

2010 they went on the road and once again found themselves playing a weak Divisional winner in KC, how the hell did KC win the division anyways? It was a 12-4 Ravens team on the road vs a 10-6 Divisional winner with freaking Matt Cassel as QB lol. 2 years later they have the #1 pick in the draft.

After that game they went on to lose to the Steelers, just like in 2008. Typical.

Last year they got to play @ home vs the freaking Houston Texans with freaking T.J. Yates as QB in the divisional game after a bye week. Another easy win and only one needed to get to the AFCCG, same as Pats only needing to get past a fluke Tebow.

Ravens will lose to the Patriots. He only has 5 road victories because that is basically all the Ravens ever do and most of it has been in spite of Flacco's play, play in the playoffs on the road minus, what.... 2 games in 5 years? Vs Colts & rookie QB this year and in 2011 vs a Houston Texans team with T.J. Yates.

The QB I was thinking about is McNabb. He was in the CC 3 of his first 5 years and again in year 6. Very elite company.

I found some others that have done it. It's not nearly as rare of a feat as you must have thought.

Joe Flacco stats this year in 16 games (formatting sucks, move every number 1 category left)

ATT YDS CMP% AVG TD LNG INT FUM QBR RAT
    317 531 3,817 59.7 7.19 22 61 10 9 46.8 87.7

Jay cutler 2010 and 2011 stats.
    2010 15 261 432 60.4 3,274 7.58 23 89 16 9 48.6 86.3

You are correct, sir. Eli has 5 even without the Super Bowls, so Flacco doesn't even have that stat outright.

Good call, I missed Eli. It's not easy to see through these stat smokescreens that these guys try to pump out.

This would make sense. McNabb was in the upper echelon of QBs in his era and the Eagles were always in the playoffs.

It still does not take away from Flacco.

If the Ravens win this weekend, I hope you're here on Monday morning telling us how New England lost to a team that has shit for a QB.

No one is saying he is shit. There is a middle road between shit and elite that you seem to be forgetting about.

Most people have Brady-Peyton-Rodgers-Brees as the top 4. Ben & Eli around 5&6. Personally, I have Ryan up there too.

Plus, the young QBs, I've got them all above Flacco, time will prove me right: Kap, RW, Luck and RGIII if he's healthy.

after Denver lost and then the Packers lost, I did post and say I was going to be backing Pats BIG for their potential next 3 games if they end up winning it all. I actually did say if Packers lose, Pats will win it all.

I did indeed back the Pats vs Houston big and took the -9 spread. Cashed it.

I will be backing the Pats once again vs Ravens.

if the Patriots go down and I am on ML huge or don't cover a spread and I have a big bet on it, I will be hurting

See this is where "most" people would be wrong. Peyton WAS ahead of Flacco but not after last week.

Tebow won a playoff game with that Denver team. Flacco beats Manning on Manning's home field.

Flacco moves ahead of Peyton at this point in their careers.

Crazy thing is, last week I was touting Flacco as a "good enough" QB to pull the upset. Nobody would listen.

Face it, Flacco is what he is. If I'm starting a team tomorrow, I take Cam Newton over Joe Flacco.

IF the Ravens decided to only cover guys for 30 yards downfield, Peyton would have put up 70 points on them. You are putting way too much emphasis on the team around him, and a small portion of games. Watch the guy play a few games and you realize he misses a lot of relatively simple throws. He was less than 50% in the Denver game when he had receivers wide open downfield, Rodgers and co. don't pass up opportunities like that very often.

Mark Sanchez has 4 road playoff wins including @ Colts with Manning and @Patriots with Tom Brady

His stats in the playoffs are: 9 TD- 3 INT, 94.3 Qb Rating

Flacco really ain't that great but Ravens have a shot as a TEAM
