    Why wouldn't they be?

They are shorter underdogs in their upcoming games?

    Seattle beats ATL
    SF beats GB

You realize Seahawks are only 2.5 point dogs on the road while GB are 3 point dogs. From this thought process alone Seahawks have the better chance of qualifying to the NFC championship game. Also worth mentioning even if it was at home Seahawks have already beaten both GB and SF.

Rich boy you don't know much about sports gambling do you? You do realize that sea has a lower line than gb this week which automatically makes them ahead of gb.

seahawks did not beat the packers. The replacement refs won that game.

and since that game Seattle has continuously improved while Russel Wilson has shown that he can make the transaction to the pros. Meanwhile Rodgers continously has bailed out his team with that horrible O-line. If they had a rematch even in Lambeau Seahawks would take packers down again.

for it to happen again it would need to happen a first time.

Green Bay will become the favorites if they win this week. They would be around -2 over Atlanta or -2.5 (-115) over Seattle next week.

And original post is no longer true, Packers +360, Seahawks +370. Regardless though, Green Bay odds are currently skewed upward because they are playing the favorites to win the NFC this week.

They'll be higher than 2.5 over Seattle at home. That's a joke.

5dimes had -3.5/-4 but it is 3 now.

If Packers beat Niners that automatically gives them at least an extra point.
There's no way they'll be posting -2.5's if the game actually happens.

And that's not true either, the line right now obviously already assumes the two teams already won.

But it is not assuming how they won. Line will be adjusted on perception.

    The game won't happen anyway...

Perception should already be built in. Tony's not dumb. The one that baffles me is SF/Atl Pick SF should be the same price over Atl as GB.

Not sure what 5 Dimes is up to with that SF/Atl line.

    Very odd.

I'm sure limits are low on these pre-game spreads.

Wow, I can't believe people out there still don't understand the rule. It was dual possession, it goes to the offense.

Here's the official NFL explanation: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100...awks-touchdown

I can only guess if someone is still confused about this play, they watch way too much ESPN (jock sniffer) TV.

It wasn't dual possession, the defender had possession first and THEN the received wrapped his hands around the ball. Simultaneous possession has to be just that for the tie to go to the receiver.

If you look at 1:04, it is fairly obvious that defender has ball secured with two hands against his chest and Tate has ONE hand on the ball, quickly bringing the other one in and then holding on for dear life. But it should have been too late at that point.

There is going to be a bunch of people losing futures and ML bets on Sunday afternoon on Seahawks. I can't name one good team Seahawks beat on the road. Can you?

Even if one of Tate's hands slips off for a microsecond, he still maintains adequate control for dual possession.

They just won a road playoff game. In my book, 10-6 teams are good. Wins in Chi and Wash are quality road wins.

How many good teams have Seattle lost to on the road? SF 13-6, as a 7 1/2 point underdog, that's it. That was back in October, SEA has really come together since then and in a rematch, I wonder how close to EV that line would be.

They just lost to the Bucs, who are average. If the Bucs can beat them at home, why can't Seattle?

implies not control or possesion it's just common sense.
The call was so correct that before GB left the lockeroom for the airport the commish was bent over the negotiating table with lube out taking it you know where to get the old refs back by the next sunday. When ex nfl coaches on tv are telling you it's not the right call the league can write their lies down on paper & dress them pretty it still won't make it true.It was never the right call & only packer haters & seahawk fans won't admit it.

So, the NFL front office hates the Packers? lol

By ex-coaches, you mean tv commentators. These guys can't hack it in the NFL, so they read the script put in front of them. Besides, NFL coaches barely know the rules anyway, they throw challenge flags on unreviewable calls and are always pleading with the refs constantly over every little thing.

The reason the old refs came back after this game was due to calls all weekend, the replacement refs simply were losing control of the games. The only people who think it was this one single play are the one's watching jock sniffer tv. The regular refs would have made the same call on this play except maybe catching the offensive pass interference and/or roughing the passer on that play.

You are smoking some serious crack if you believe this...Even the guy who made the wrong call came out and said he made the wrong call.
