Besides his SB run, Manning really isn't a great playoff performer, hence he's just the greatest regular season QB . I lost a lot betting on the Colts vs. SD WC game years back. He all a poor game. Rivers was on fire, and Sproles just ran wild. With that said..I can see Denver covering no problem if they can score first on a TD with their defense.

Joe Flacco looks like John Elway against bad defences at home, but it's a different story on the road against good competition. Plus this old defence of the Ravens is going to be gassed in the high altitude of Denver. You all saw what happened when Pittsburgh had to make the trip to Denver....This one could get ugly.

I'm not sure if Ravens will win but this line is ridiculous. Ravens were one dropped pass last year from getting to the SB, now they're getting 9 points in a game that'll come down to the wire.

    Ravens +350 ML risk $150
    Ravens +9 -110 Risk $330

Denver just Bama'd the Ravens in their place 34-3 a few weeks back until they let off the gas at the end. The defense has improved a ton since they took Joe Mays/Porter out of coverage and Holiday has been running kicks back like Devin Hester. Champ takes away Bolden so what does Balt. have left? Rice looked worse than his backup vs Indy. Denver by double digits again

Gotta go with DEN and NEP here. to me the 2 easiest games to pick are the Pats and broncos. The toughest being SEA/ATL and GB/SF. I have SF but the sea/atl game is a tough one but gonna go with ATL

wild card winners take to the road off one win, they dip to a disgusting 0-17 SU and 2-14-1 ATS (HOU, GB, BAL all lost final game and won wildcard weekend, all coming off one win.)

Game was going to be 10-3 or 10-7 at half-time till the Int which the Ravens quit after. Taking the game out of context.

Niners Bama'd the Pats in Foxboro 31-3 till they let off the gas.....but to you it was a great Pats comeback probably.
Denver will win but they are not that much better than Baltimore.

Pats came back while the Ravens quit.....maybe thats because Brady is great and Flacco is average. Denver's D is 10x better/younger than Baltimore....can't wait to see Ray Ray exposed over the middle on crossing routes. They'll prob blitz him so he can get stuck at the line. The only advantage Balt has is Rice and he looked terrible vs Indy. I think Denvers D is the best in the NFL now but guess we'll find out when Brady shows up.

Ravens are in a really tough spot here...
    1. Their defense played a tremendously high number of snaps against Indy
    2. They are older - possibly fatigued
    3. They are traveling to Denver to play in thin air with crowd noise
    4. They are against a top ranked defense and Payton Manning run offense
    5. They think they just won the Superbowl
    6. Rice is great, but he becomes irrelevant if they fall behind.
    7. Flacco always seems to be right on the edge of greatness...but he is also right on the edge of sucking.

Baltimore is a solid team - they are very undervalued imo...with all the Indy love they were a great bet last game. However, they won't win this game. They may cover, but who knows. I'm not playing this game- if you forced me to I'd take Denver.

the ravens are what they are....sure they could beat denver....but this thing about teams not caring until the playoffs roll around? listen not every team is the giants getting real hot and winning road playoff games...you want to win in the regular season and give yourself home playoff games...the ravens are what the ravens are

I think the Ravens want Denver. They weren't a full team when they first played. Now, they're healthy. Different ball game.

I would of rather faced indy to be honest with you.. Ray lewis's last game and he will be fired up. you have ray rice and he can be a gamechanger.. In the end though we will pull away.. our defense is fantastic and even though our schedule wasnt tough we blew almost everyone out.

Even though I believe the Broncos win here.

It's not the first time the Ravens won on the road in extreme cold conditions.
The Ravens defeated the Patriots in this weather condition before.

Along with the somewhat short week, highlighted was exactly the first things that came to my mind along with every oddsmaker and everyone else with half a brain. The problem is just that, everyone knows this which should tell everyone that it's already factored into the line. Now is the line right? I don't know, it seems too high for me even being a Broncos fan. Is revenge or the 'last run for Ray' as a motivation...factored in? Or every viewable stat vs. stat known to man given at our finger tips an edge, blah, blah blah?

Or perhaps should we look at other situational's not so easily handicapped by every Joe Blow that thinks they know what they are doing against the 'almighty' oddsmaker to gain an edge? Perhaps we should look at how the past 14 teams, since 2003, who are on a >8 winning streak fair when entering a playoff game? Are they stagnant or soft from winning they will do just enough to pull out a win? Are they coached well enough in their bye-week not to come out soft? If anyone wants to know let me know. I can list every game. Or perhaps how a winning dog does ATS on revenge when their oppt puts an ass-whoopin on them putting up >28 points in that game.

Not so sure Balt will win SU, I hope not for Denver's sake as fan but also have a +2950 SB future on them. But in honesty, I agree with Goat..I think they keep within the spread. I also agree with others on this thread, the live dog appears to be more with Hou than the former.
