With the Giants limited by a rash of injuries to several key players, side with Jacksonville Monday evening when the Jags host New York.
The Giants enter into this contest against Jacksonville off a disappointing loss by a score 38-20 to the Chicago Bears last week, thanks in part to array of injuries as five starters did not play.
After last Sunday's battle, the G-Men are even more banged up as CB Sam Madison (hamstring) and tackle Luke Petitgout (broken leg) went down, while star running back Tiki Barber suffered a re-injured finger and will be less than 100% for this confrontation. The Jags, on the other hand, did not emotionally show up for their game against Houston and were subsequently upset 13-10 as 10-point home favs.
With that said, we have a game this afternoon that pits an injury-riddled New York team in a letdown mode against a Jags team that may be a little embarrassed and very frustrated and ready for redemption.
Final Notes & Trends: Giants are 1-11 ATS in their last 12 games following a double-digit loss at home. The home team has won 7-straight meetings in this series. Buy off the hook and play on the Jaguars.
