Do the Pats have any motivation to lose this game. What happens if they lose this game, who do they play? If they win this game they get home field 1st playoff game right?

I need them for a parlay I have had going but started to worry about it last night because if Houston wins their motivation will be minimal. However if Indy can somehow manage to hold on then NE can play for #2 with a long-shot chance of #1 if Denver loses. NE still could have #2 as a possibility if Houston wins but its not likely they will go all-out because they will be expecting a Denver victory, hopefully that all makes sense to you.

In short it comes down to this, if you want to bet on NE root for Indy.

I want to put them in a teaser at +3, just want to make sure they dont have a reason to throw the game.

If HOU and DEN win NE's playoff seeding will not change. If HOU or DEN loses NE could earn a first round bye. If HOU and DEN lose NE would get homefield advantage...very very very small chance that happens.

NE has historically had a hard time covering against the Dolphins in December. If my memory serves me right they have only covered once against MIA the last 5 times they have played in December. Being that the spread is -10, that is almost certain doom for NE ATS.

ya i agree. they could have a hard time covering the -10, but can you see them losing to Miami by a FG?

It's not going back, it's only going to get higher so if you are going to do a teaser now if your chance.

ya i went ahead and locked it in, in fear of it getting suspended before kickoff. that happens sometimes when they get a big influx of money.
