In Aliante Sportsbook in Las Vegas right now and....
Just saw a guy come up to the counter next to me and drop 100,000 on New England -4!
Holy shit it's a casino in North Las Vegas where I live and usually they only accept like 10,000 max bets on Monday Night. Watched the manager come out and approve the bet...he moved the line here to -5. Having a beer with him right now at the bar waiting for the game. I thought my 220.00 bet was a lot Haha good luck to him!!
He doesn't even seem nervous....kinda wanna see Houston start off strong now just to see him a little nervous! Haha I'm more nervous for him than he is!!
Why would I lie about this? I'm sitting next to the guy right now I swear!! Haha I didn't bet that amount I'm poor!! Haha I'm enjoying my 1 dollar beers!
The only surprising thing about this bet is the fact that they accepted it because it's a local station casino it says max bet for MNF is actually 15,000.00. So I thought they would never accept this wager but it was approved by the guy who came from the back. He had to talk to the guy for about 2-3 minutes and he said he usually bets at the Venetian and they checked his ID and they accepted the bet right away.
No he didn't have a briefcase on him he just had a backpack and the money was all neatly organized. They put the money in the money counting machine and the ticket printed out as if it was a 5 dollar ticket. Pretty amazing to see up close
And the guy just showed me a 55,000.00 ticket on the Houston Rockets +7.5 vs the Spurs from Red Rock Casino. This guy isn't playing around I wonder how sharp he is.
Says his average bet is 55,000.00 but bets 100,000 on one NFL game a week but mostly bets NBA. He's wearing a Randal Cunningham Vikings jersey think he's a Minnesota guy
Yeah surprising how fast they took the action especially since it says 74 percent of the betting is on Patriots at this casino. But literally took the bet right when they looked at his ID. I think they already knew who he was
If it was still a station property They would never take that bet. I understand its under new management maybe but I highly doubt it. Could be a REEMER alias here or manic shill trying to generate some traffic.
No I don't care about traffic and I already got his phone number he lives kind of close to me which could be good for me but I don't bet a lot of money anyway. He loves NBA says it's most profitable sport to bet on for him. I don't know why people think I'm lying about this that would be completely pointless.
And yes they're under new management I just asked and they are not a station casino anymore. They just changed management about a month ago the bartender just told me. He said he has seen tickets of up to 300,000 on Monday Night games here even when it was a station casino. He said it really depends on how much action you give them which they can track on your players card. Guess that's why they accepted his bet.
It must be a Cantor or William Hill Book now. Anyway it is a great Casino and no one is ever in there. I LOVE playing horses there its like having your own private book.
Why is he at different casinos making these bets? If he bets at Venetian why is he at red rock and the little place where you are? Is that normal? Sounds odd
And southpaw I don't really know why he goes to different casinos but I think it might be because it's where he gets the best lines. Since he's betting so much money every point counts!! Ready for this game to start now and feeling confident on New England now that he has talked me into why they will win. Lets hope he's right. Although he's making me crazy with the yelling for the Rockets right now, everyone is looking at us like were crazy
He also had a lean on Dallas Mavericks Team Total under 104.5 for the game but didn't pull the trigger. I'll try and get as much info from him as I can.
Those are the 3 he told me he had tonight and I held the ticket for all three. Pretty amazing amount of money but for this guy it seems like pocket change. Good luck everyone!
