    Can Anyone Simulate RGIII?

    Baltimore Ravens@Ravens
Practice squad QB Dennis Dixon has been simulating RG3 in practice. He ran the option at Oregon.

The arm strength, probably not. However, the triple option's pretty easy to execute on offense as it's simple in it's approach. It's only tough because every play starts out looking exactly the same, so if you over-commit to attacking in the backfield, you get burned as RG3 keeps his eyes downfield.

Baltimore's defense is a veteran group that's not so much about speed as it is about playing assignments, so even depleted as it is, I think they should handle the option better than most.

RGIII will have a good couple of yrs, give or take, but his style does not last in the NFL.

He will get concussed and smashed in the ribs and sternum 'til he is useless. OR he will start taking a dive like Cam and not be as effective. Good yr, blah blah.

I would take SO many QB's over him right now, like of course Luck, but even Bradford and others, looking at the next 5-8 years.
