I am a big Lions fan, and I don't get this line. I'd warn people thinking about backing the Lions in this spot to stay away. SHOULD they win this game based on talent alone? Absolutely, however that's not the way that it works with this team. They just cannot put 60 minutes of good football together. They have pretty much dominated two supposed top teams the past two weeks and came away with two L due to a mix of poor coaching and officiating. Bottom line, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Lions win today, but I don't think by enough to cover the spread. If they build a lead, you had better believe that they will allow the Colts back into the game- or more likely, they will have to come from behind to win.
Personally, though I'm staying away, I think that the best bet on the board here is for the Colts money line. I'd give them a much better chance of winning than the money line reflects. I'd say close to 50/50.
