Stupid fuking rule. Regardless how retarded the coach is. In the heat of battle, and with such a bad call, your emotions take over and react.
To be penalized 7 points for that reaction is stupid. Just give the Texans 15 yards and review the damn play.

actually, Belichick has already done the same thing (thrown the flag on an unreviewable play), but didn't get penalized for it. He tends to get away with stuff.

It's a waste of time when guys throw a flag on a play they can't challenge. That was part of the process of implementing this system. imo the games are played for the fans and that whole sham was really a technicality. Robbing the fans of a fair game behind a technicality is just bad form on the part of the NFL. Even the announcers didnt know that rule and theyre also supposed to be completely up on the rules.
