2 Points and the Ball For a Tackle at the 1 Yard Line???

Did anyone notice that the play which was called a safety in the Cowboys game was clearly not a safety when looking at the instant replay?

I didn't catch it live, but I caught the replay of it. Your absolutely correct cap, that was not a safety IMO either.

"Honestly, I think it was a lack of concentration." - - - Terrell Owens on his dropped pass.
Oh, you think, TO? I think maybe it was too much concentration, as in concentrating too much about what sort of dumbass 'excessive celebration' stunt you were going to pull BEFORE you even caught the effin' ball.

That guy's a joke, and not a funny one at that.

The announcers just totally glossed over it. It was as evident as grass is green. Parcells and the Cowboys staff blew the game by not throwing the red flag on that one. The sad thing is that the coaches upstairs listen to the broadcast of the game and if one of the announcers had mentioned that it wasn't a safety on replay, then they would have told Parcells to throw the flag. The beauty of that play is that they had an eternity to make the decision, because they still possessed the football.

I strongly suspect this game will be on NFL Replay and if it is, everybody should take a very close look at the "safety".
