    Fire Jim Schwartz already

After Turner who should've been fired years ago Schwartz should be the next guy to go. Schwartz was very lucky last year with cutler and forte going down. Very undisciplined team one of the highest penalized teams in the league, team continually making the same mistakes. Finally all their mistakes catching up to them this year and we see what they really are.

Reminds me of Joey Harrington's quote when the Lions were going 0-16, and he mentioned how he was there "in the heyday"

You have people in the organization starting with the quarterback that are not winning anything in their life. They will wins games, score lots O points, and be called funny names like Megatron. Enjoy the entertainment and all of the other stuff that goes with that. Understand they are not winning ever. Stop talking about it. Good luck.

When you keep drafting in the top 5 every year, you're bound to hit a pick or two. The only thing Schwartz should get credit for is that everyone on the Lions roster is living the thug life. When your coach has no discipline, neither will the players, on or off the field.

how do you lose that game to the packers? ton of talent yet no discipline. Also for my own notes Norv Turner not fired this week either.

love the schwartz backers claiming he's the saviour of the franchise.

my grandmother could coach for stafford/calvin and get a few wins here and there.

He's safe, owner is just happy Lions are relevant again; going 7-9 or 8-8 annually is a good thing in Detroit.

another big mistake with throwing the flag costing his team the game again, against a team coming off a team playing 5 quarters 4 days ago.
lions have sucked for so long that its no surprise their loaded with talent. this is a 10-6 team at least with the team they have. And yet they continue to make stupid mistakes, get penalized often and find a way to lose. And Schwartz will probably still be their next season throwing away another season. Same story in SD their 2 years too late on firing Norv and their all but done. SD had so much talent multiple years should've been to at least one SB and yet nothing to show for it.

I don't know how anyone could be impressed with Schwartz if they watched that game.

Names like Cowher, Billick and Gruden might get tossed around, but I think these guys are all done.

Personally, I think Giants DC Perry Fewell is an awesome fit. The Lions need to define itself defensively if it wants to take the next step. The offense is already moving the ball effectively enough to win, it's the defense that seems to be letting this team down right now. Something to think about as the Giants face the Packers this weekend, if Fewell cooks something up to slow down GB like they did last year in the playoffs, Detroit might not be able to resist.

Nice decision on 4th and 5 to try a 52-yard FG in the snow by a 42-year-old kicker who clearly can't reach. Nice.

lions want to lose. when the game was tied at 17 the lions made a boneheaded hail mary throw to the end zone on third and 3 at the GB 34 (ending the drive) that didn't work out, missed the long field goal, and gave the ball back to GB with good field position. lions are fukking stupid and prefer to be behind in games or at least it looks that way

That's another thing. The call before the FG was absurd. Get the first down with a short pass. They are brutal. Both coordinators will likely be fired, as Schwartz always looks to pass the blame.

6 in a row for schwartz, he's likely done already but will be a lock if he loses the last two as well.
