NFL Plays (Pick a winner, they cover the spread)

That's my simple theory and I'm sticking with it

    Broncos -3.5
    Packers -10
    Ravens -3.5
    Texans -10
    Tampa Bay ML
    Falcons -4

don't like the idea of laying double digits no matter who the team is.

5 public favorites and the Bucs? Not the best theory. At best I think you'll go 3-3 but more likely 2-4. Try and handicap your own games and look for differences between your line and the book's line. It's a bit of work but if you know what you are doing it is well worth it. If you're just a casual better than it doesn't matter what you do, but if you're trying to make money forget any theories, systems or trends and analyze each game rigorously and objectively. BOL

I think only two of these games will win. Philly will come within 4, not sure packers can cover, I'd fade the broncos on the road. I like tbb on ml tho

Last week the only teams that won and didn't cover was the packers and the bears. We will see how it works this week.

Philly has the Saints, I'm not sure who wins that game - hence a no play.

My only rule of thumb this yr is to take the dog in every Philly game, hasn't let me down yet

For the 1PM games, every team covered the spread and those that did not lost outright. So far the moral is - only play a dog if you think they win outright and play them on the ML.

Well that is a perfect 6-0, did much better here than in college football.

No play for tonight (undecided who will win that game) although I would lean Brees.

8/9 games so far and the spreads did not come into play. Unless Buffalo pulls off the late win. My dog play didn't pan out. 2-1 on the week so far. Keep choosing winners!
