    Week 9 Best Bets

    Denver Broncos -3.5

Peyton Manning rolling. Broncos D is rolling. Cincy 0-3 SU and ATS last 3. Refuse to believe that they are "due" and that this line is a trap. Manning is a very consistent player. He will once again breakdown the defense here. Not until after this blow-out will people actually take Broncos seriously. Prediction: 31-13

    Cleveland Browns +3.5
I have a lot of bias in this one, just because I hate Flacco with a passion. Browns defense not stellar, but their offense has been on a tear and Ravens have shown they can allow a lot of yards. I see a shootout and would consider the over as well. I will also take the ML on this one too. Prediction: 27-24

    Houston Texans -10
I hate taking double digit favorites like most people on here who have been doing this for a while. However, I have no doubt in my mind that Texans have a great chance of covering. Buffalo 30th against the run, 32nd in points against. Texans have no problems scoring. This gets ugly early. Take the first half line too. Prediction: 38-13

    Atlanta Falcons -4
Here, I also refuse to believe that the Falcons are due for a loss. I don't think they go 16-0, but this is not the week they will lose. They have shown to be a great contender, and with a line below 4.5, I have to jump on it. Dallas run game going down the toilet. I think this will be a little too close for comfort, but I know I can trust Romo to give the Falcons a few extra possessions to cover. Prediction 30-24

For those that like teasers, your best bet here is with a 7.5 point teaser. BOL.

Hmm. Like the Broncos but would buy down to -3. Browns I am coming around on, but would wait for the line to get a little more juiced ... betting against the public I usually wait until gameday to maybe get them at +4. Texans-10 is a winner. Still haven't decided on the ATL/DAL game, but agree pretty much exactly with what you wrote. I was hoping the Cowboys would get blown out last week so this line would get juiced to +6.5 and I could buy DAL+7, but they had the late rally that killed the "Romo 4 picks in blowout" storyline. I think you go 3-1 with these picks on a bad day if you buy Denver down to 3 and wait for that CLE line to get to +4.

Why do you hate Joe Flacco?

I hate Flacco too, but I wont take the Browns. Like the other 3 plays.
