If you had to pick 5 teams to win straight up.....

Which teams do you feel most confident about winning straight up this week in NFL?

    I was thinking

    1. Bears over Panthers
    2. Patriots over Rams
    3. Broncos over Saints
    4. Steelers over Redskins
    5. Giants over Cowboys

    which teams would you pick?

I don't believe in Tony Romo, i just think the NY Giants are 10 times better than the Cowboys but this may be a risky pick.

I am also kind of concerned with the Steelers because without Palamalu will they be able to stop RG3?

And the Patriots ... Tom Brady and that offense is great but the Rams play good defense and the Patriots probably have the worst defense in the NFL.

    i also like
    Eagles over Falcons
    Titans over Colts
    Chargers over Browns
    Jets over Dolphins

i'm trying to narrow this down and do a 5 team parlay. I need to cash this one, i'm more concerned about cashing it than how much it wins b/c i need a winner bad this week.

Green Bay ML at home against Jaguars is the lock of the week.

    GB WIN
    Bears WIN
    Pats WIN
    Broncos WIN
    Pats WIN

Will be parlaying these as soon as GB ML comes out

i never feel safe with the patriots anymore though.

i still can't believe the patriots let that 13 point lead get away in seattle.

Huge Pats fan and I agree with you. Cannot believe I am saying this but out of the 5 teams Pats are prob the most likely to lose. I think of it like this, Brady put up 23 IN Seattle so you know he is going to score against the Rams, prob 27-30 points, question is even with the Pats weak D can the Rams keep up? I just do not see it.

If you are real concerned with the Pats, I would consider substituting the Raiders, I just cant see KC beating them with Brady Quinn. Same thing with SF, just do not see a loss to AZ after they have come back to earth recently.

Prob right about the Titans, though I will prob just be the Chris Johnson YDS prob when it comes out. We all saw what Greene did to Indy I see a big day for CJ, just not sure if it will be enough to beat Indy.

Nobody likes the Chargers? IDK why but the Bears/Panthers game worries me. I just feel the Panthers have to come out of this slump at some point.

Anyone who bets the chargers should just give that money to their kids or friends instead...

Chargers and Cowboys are overvalued every week for years now...

    I don't get it...

Not playing the game so GL... Lean over..

    Pats/Chargers/GB

Saints still too dangerous offensively, Giants/Cowboys a toss up, Redskins/Steelers a toss-up, Bears should beat the Panthers but I feel this is the game for Panthers to cause an upset

Horrible week for a ml parlay. All except gb can realistically lose. Panthers will give Chi a game. Chi will try to win conservative without putting Cutler at risk.
NE can outright lose, ask any real Pats who has seen every game.
And you don't add Chargers to any ml parlay because of Norv.
    Denver suppose is 2nd strongest.
    Giants/Dallas is coin flip.

    new england can outright lose?

my man brady is not losing to the rams. it's the one team in the nfc that brady loves to play. lloyd is gonna be a beast this game and Brady will put on a show in England. mark my words. I said the pats will win 9 in a row after they were 1-2. they've won 3/4 and i don't see them losing another.

Maybe I am being closed minded-but I just dont see a shot in the cold hell the Panthers come to soilder field and beat the Bears. Is this the same Bears team that shut out a talented offense for 59:20 last week? I am a huge "Any Given Sunday" believer, but does anyone really believe the Panthers have a shot here? Rarely do we have 3 VERY HIGH probability picks in a single week.... GB/Bears/Pats lets cash it.

Agree with the other Poster, I lean Denver hard but the Saints are still talented enough to score with any team in the league and the Denver D is nothing to write home about. Never saw myself considering an O 56 bet, but this just might be the game

Did the Pats sign anybody in their secondary this week? last time i looked mediocre Qbs are lighting them up, Fitzpatrick, Sanchez, Russell Wilson, etc.

Tom Terrific led NE offense 2 TDs in past two weeks. Rams have some playmakers on D. Rodgers and the Pack Offense was awesome last week, they would have scored 30 on anybody. though Pack only averaged about 2.5 per carry, Ram run D was excellent.

This is a ballgame in the 4th quarter, no doubt. what are Patriots 4-3 against the spread? this isn't 2007.

2 TDs in two weeks? He had two against the Jets and two against the Seahawks, so unless you got this stat wrong does that mean 2 TDs a game is now bad??? I think that is still pretty good. Not to mention this offense is not healthy, Gronk hip, Hernandez high ankle sprain which is a big injury for a receiver/TE.

As far as the secondary, they are still evolving. One of the youngest in the league with 3 rookies starting, they will improve because of Bill B and because they can only go up from where they are. Pass rush is getting better and look for Bill to FINALLY start mixing in some blitz packages this week in London. This is still the most talented, potent offense in the league bar non. The defense has had some good showings, Denver game anyone? 21pts from Peyton, not bad. I agree this is not 2007, when they were the best offense in the history of the game, however they are still in a league of their own. This team knows how to win and it is a matter of time before they put it all together. Not to mention they are adjusting to Josh McDaniels and working towards a new identity now that they actually have a running game for the first time since Corey Dillon's 1st season.

It may never happen, but if this team finally starts firing on all cylinders, watch out...

"they will improve because of Bill B ".
Look I respect the shit out of Belicheck like everybody else but he can't scheme is way to stopping teams every week with an inexperienced ,banged up defense. Look at the quarterbacks lighting them up.
2 tds per game each past 2 weeks is supposed to be impressive? Not when your D is pitiful, not where my money is going. This game is Rams or no play.

with so many games to choose from 5 is doable

It's humerous that so many people think the Panthers have a shot, based on the new GM theory and "they have to end the slump at some point" theory.

Cmon guys, anyone knowledgable knows that the Panthers offense is in shambles. They have no running game whatsoever, no wide out weapons other then Steve Smith, who will be shadowed by Tillman. And Cam Newton running the show who is loose with the ball and turnover prone....the Bears defense has been licking their chops all week. When there are no signs of breaking out of a rut, you don't walk into SOlider Field and break out against the best defense in football.

Chicago should win this game by 14+.

Im a panthers fan i kinda agree bears should win easy.
The Panthers star cornerback Chris Gamble just got put on IR.

Everyone of us Panther fans is sooo glad to see Marty Hurney get fired.
Guy didnt have a fukkin clue.

However i will say Cam is a good QB. I knew he would have
a dissapointing year though bc the Panthers did nothin to try to prevent the
sophmore slump. He needs some weapons around him to make his job easier.

The Panthers o-line might be the worst in the NFL and
his only good WR steve smith is a midget.

If the Panthers had signed Vincent Jackson, Brandon Marshall,
Plaxico Burress or any other reciever with size Cam and the
Panthers would be 3-3 at worst.
