He has nothing invested in the game. More importantly, no one is keeping track of his picks therefore he doesnt give a damn. He is paid to talk about it, and throw out a guess.
Other than the players, Al Micheals is the only guy on TV that really cares who wins.

he knows you can't keep the steelers down too long. tomlin has never been 2 games below .500, that is some accomplishment. that being said, he has nothing vested since he is not hired for his picks.
