I highly doubt anyone is on them unless they have literally peanuts sprinkled on it... If Revis and Holmes weren't out and the odds were similar it would definitely have tremendous value... But with the offense in disarray missing key WRs and TEs against a defensive juggernaut in the Texans and suspectibility to defend against the likes of Andre Johnson it seems like playing the lotto.

You would practically be wagering on special teams and Houston fumbles/turn overs if you take the Jets.

i see why it's tough to get behind the jets but they would be the sharper play. bet against the public. public money is pouring in on houston. Fade the public.

U don't fade the public for every game. The public doesn't always lose. How is there any angle on taking the Jets? I hate all these idiots in here that always talk "sharp." Yes, in the long run, betting against the public is wise, but u also have to pick and choose your spots. The only angle I see with the Jets is they're at home. Outside of that, what's there to like about them? U take your "sharp" play for this SINGLE game and ill take the public play.

I think the only angle other than the Jets being at home is the fact that Sanchez is competing for a job this week. I think he knows Tebow is going to take the realm soon, and he might have a strong start. I'm not on the Jets, but I'm not willing to lay 8.5 with the Texans yet. If I had to bet this game, I'd be on the Jets +8.5, but there are going to be better games next week. I think Texans win by 7-10 but this one is hard. Who knows what Jet team will show up, and I highly doubt the Jets win straight up.

I might play the Jets small or just pass, but how you can justify laying -8 or -9 or whatever with any team on the road in the NFL on MNF is beyond me.

I just can't see how the Jets can get anywhere with the ball. They can't move the ball on the ground or in the air and they don't have their most crucial impact player on defense.

Have Texans ML -380 to close out a parlay and just put Texans -6.5 -150 to close out another. Texans complete team, prime time statement situation and Jets just really in shamblles right now, really.

Not for me. Just don't see the advantage in laying that kind of chalk in any NFL game, let alone on a road team on MNF. Good luck if you do, though.

No "sharp" angle on Jets. this would be a straight public fade. sanchez has no receivers and their best running back is a corner now.

but god damn, EVERYONE is on Texans -9 and less.
Rumor is Mayweather is on Texans -9 for 5 million.

I don't know as much about the NFL as I do other sports and understand its like the WWE sometimes, but I see only a 5% chance the Jets can win straight up. This is all, of course, with my limited knowledge of the sport.

you guys are crazy underrating the jets so much. look at their home stats the past couple seasons. their only missing 2 players not the entire squad. people will step up on offense and make plays not to mention they will be heavily motivated. How a person can take the spread at over a td or take the ML that heavily juiced makes no sense to me. I won't bet on this one but if I had a gun to my head Jets+8.5 is the play no doubt. What more of a stage can you ask for then being on MNF. they might struggle down the road however this isn't the game where they start struggling.

What are you saying? They've been struggling.

What does the past 2 seasons have to do with anything for tomorrow night's game? And they're not just missing 2 players, they're missing their best WR and defensive player. Taking juice that high makes no sense? Just like taking the Giants -380 didn't make sense either. I'm not saying being "sharp" is bad, but definitely not all the time for every game. "Sharps" think way too much sometimes and fuk themselves from making money. I'm not a square or a sharp but can see when one side has an obvious edge. Btw, "squares" don't always lose.

as far as home field, every season ticket jets fan i know has been trying to get rid of these tickets, unsuccessfully. They know what's coming on monday night and every sbr poster should as well. this game doesn't need much breakdown if you have been watching both teams. there is no comparison.

for as good as hou d is they actually give up 4.3 ypc and i would think teblow will be making a appearance in this gm sooner than later, certainly not advocating nyj here as i dont like betting a team that is totally outclassed and nyj only has one option to stop hou run gm and if they choose to sell out shaub will kill them over the top..if i had to guess id say rexy employs a d that just does its best to make hou work for points and he uses teblow and greene and shortens this gm as much as possible and we get one ugly monday night gm where hou wins something like 19-13
