Charles Barkley lost his wager on the Seahawks game, Wah!

Charles Barkley Lost Money On Packers-Seahawks, And He’s Mad As Hell

    Sports Radio Interviews
Every morning, the fine folks at Sports Radio Interviews sift through the a.m. drive-time chatter to bring you the best interviews with coaches, players, and personalities across the sports landscape. Today: Barkley learned a valuable lesson about replacement refs and bad breaks.
Charles Barkley joined 97.5 the Fanatic in Philadelphia with Mike Missanelli to talk about him losing money on the Packers-Seahawks game, what his emotions were like watching the game, the idea that owners care about the fans, why he thinks Tiger Woods should fire back at his critics and whether he thinks the Eagles should bench Michael Vick.
On him losing money on the Packers-Seahawks game:
"I don't think I've ever been this mad in my entire life. I got robbed [Monday] night. I'm just angry. I love to gamble, I can live with winning and losing, but I don't ever want to get jobbed like I did [Monday] night. I'm going to give you a quick synopsis. Everybody is going crazy over the catch, but I got screwed on the roughing the passer, I got screwed on the pass interference, I got screwed on the interception and I found out today that they actually have a real official in the replay booth who could've overruled that? I got screwed four times and that makes it even worse."

What his emotions were like watching the game:
"It was a fluke game because the line was three and when Cedric Benson fumbled I was like, ‘Are you kidding me?' There was a a lot of emotion going on. They didn't get the first down and they're only going to kick a field goal and be up two so I'm screwed. Then they went for the challenge and got the first down and I'm like, ‘Whew, I might get a lucky break here.' Then they didn't get the first down, Cedric Benson fumbled the ball and I'm like, ‘They might take a safety and then it becomes a push.' I was all over the place. Then I jump up and down when they get the interception on the roughing the passer so my emotions were obviously all over the place. I love to gamble, I'm always going to gamble, but I just don't like to get screwed like that."

On the idea that the owners care about the fans:
"You think the guys that play with the replacement officials are concerned about the fans or the integrity of the game? These guys are all about the cash bro. These guys don't care about the fans! They used replacement players! This notion that these owners are worried about the integrity of the game, I'm like, wait a minute, a few years ago they used replacement players. You think they're worried about replacement referees? You think you're going to get an Aaron Rodgers off the street? Or Tom Brady off the street? They got players off the street to play football and the players came across the picket line.

Everyone knew going in that it was replacement refs.

    Buyer beware.

And there was no crying about refs last year?

    Please.

Just an arena for those that lost to cry.

It's like crying because a ten pound bug dropped the stick.

    C'mon man.

His comments were exactly what I was saying during the game too.
But you wake up the next day and move on. Losing is just part of it. Sometimes we get screwed by the wife, sometimes by the lazy players and sometimes by the refs.

He made plenty of cash in his career and he gets paid well at TNT. He's just using discretionary income like any of us would, albeit with a few more 0's involved.

Good for Barkley. This is why he is the best in the business.

The guy is a superstar, and also a raging degen.

It was an insanely bad beat, I was lucky enough to be on the other-side, but it is the only time I felt for the losing side.

If you had to go all in. Make sure the team has home field advantage. A squares biggest mistake.

So, what do you guys think?

Does Charles have his own system/cap games himself?
Or does he chuck darts like the lot of sports gamblers (pun not intended)?
Or does Chuck have a guy or guys that give him leans?

Shouldn't a guy who spent years in court fighting off casinos trying to get their money cause a normal man to slow it down?

Any rumors on how much he bet/lost?

Barkley pretty much summed up how everyone who laid down money on GB felt.

I can handle losing normally, but getting ****** like that is unreal. I was pissed off all the next day, and usually i'm a person that lets things go. It's the bad beat of all bad beats (except maybe Bradley/Pac...but at least with that most people KNOW boxing is the most corrupt sport)

Why is he a hypocrite ? Not at all.
    He paid Wynn. http://www.onlinecasinoreports.com/n...ettle-debt.php
And why would any successful capper feel the need to gloat over an undeserved win ?
Oh yeah, that's right, you're not a successful capper.
