Giants/Panthers Thursday Night Game
Giants just had a great comeback... think they'll be very confident and come out strong. This should be a very exciting Thursday night game. I like the Giants on the road. I also may play the over... I see a ton of points.
What do you all think? I just played Giants -1.
Great comeback by the NYG no doubt. But do not sell Car short at home. Car has not been in prime time in a while. Newton will expose that NYG secondary and I also see a high scoring game. Predict that the NYG start out a little flat, probably playing Car/Over.

Giants run game won't be great, Giants secondary is playing poorly, Cam has couple guys to exploit, all signs point to over, so waiting until kickoff and get best possible under # out there.
Off top of head Carolina will put up ton of points, giants d lives by the pass rush they can't account for Carolina speed, don't know about the other side of ball

Looks like Bradshaw, Diehl, and Hixon have been ruled out for tomorrow's game for NYG. Hakeem Nicks is questionable. Car has some players who did not participate in practice, but none have been ruled out yet.
None of those are surprises though. I've got Faith in the NYG!
Yeah, I saw you took them in the challenge contest. Think you are underestimating Car at home. Took Car in BTP. I can see NYG winning, but will take my chances with a motivated Car squad against a team traveling on a short week.
I think there will be a bit of a hangover from the come from behind victory, also Carolina seems to be under-rated and NYG very public team.

I was also thinking the Giants would have a little bit of a hangover after the comeback win against the Bucs, but on a short week I don't see how Carolina will be able to stop the Giants offense. Carolina beat up on a New Orleans team that is yet to find its identity without their head coach. Cam is what RGIII or the wildcat are and were and that it takes time to figure them out. This year many teams have figured him out. The Bucs held Carolina to 10 points. The Giants have to prove that they are still the team that won the super bowl last year after taking one on the chin against the cowboys, and the first half of last week was just them shaking of the rust of a long lay off. Look for the Giants to take the lead early here and not to look back. Final score prediction Giants 27 Carolina 17
Can't see that NYG D holding Car to only 17 points on the road. Know there were turnovers last week, but TB put up 34 against NYG last week. Newton can take adv of that NYG secondary. Throw out that first week effort against TB. Only way I see NYG winning is Eli putting up at least 28 -31 points. Very well could happen, but I look for Car to put up at least 24-28

agreed, teams are beat up coming into these contests... Giants getting back CB Prince... Cam will be under a ton more pressure than vs the Saints "defense". Giants no Bradshaw/Nicks/Hixon. Eli won't be giving away pick 6's.

Carolina went wire to wire against a good team last week. I would not bet against them at home with a Giant team that is not firing on all cylinders yet.
The sharps seem to be on Carolina. And the line moved about 4 points today +1.5 to -2.5.
Move wasn't totally because of action, it was because Nicks was confirmed out today on top of all the other Giant injuries.
Bennett and Brown are just as solid!

Carolina +1.5 over the G-men
Giants find themselves on the road for the first time this year on a short week coming off an absolute dog fight last wk vs. Tbay. We all saw how that 4th quarter went down and the G-men paid for it dearly. THEY ARE BANGED UP right now. Injuries on top of injuries on top of more injuries.
Bradshaw listed as doubtfull right now and seeing as the Giants have yet to have a 100 yard game on the ground so far this year this is not good news for them. On the D side of the ball Prince whatever the fukk his name is has a banged up ankle, Adewale whatever the fukk his name is has a hammy and LB Rivers also has a hambone bothering him.
I cant see the Giants going full speed in practice this week after that TB fight which in turn should really play to the advantage of Carolina's team speed come game time.
With division rival Philly on deck for the giants the following week I think this game is the absolute fukkin definition of SANDWICH! Giants stink it up thursday night, Carolina is the play....1-UNIT.
