I like it pauly...Saints looked bad enough but I'm not sure Cam Newton can beat them. They gave them a good fight last season though. Just don't trust Cam even though it looks about right at +3

If Greer doesn't play the Saints are fukked. They gave up 40 points to a rookie QB in the super dome.

Everyone knows Brees is not as good on the road, especially in a hostile enviorment like Carolina. They fans will be foaming at the mouth for this victory for the home team.

This could get ugly for the Saints. They are horrible this year.

NO may have to score 45-50 to do that. If RG3 can pick apart that NO D on the road, Newton should a big game. Last year Car put up 27 at home against NO with a rookie QB. See a close game, taking the points.

    Breaking news:

Johnathan Stewart will start this week for the Panthers after missing week 1.

Coach Ron Rivera said he expects teams to continue to do what
Tampa Bay did and put 8 men in the box to stop the run and force
Cam to stand in the pocket and throw the ball.

This game will come down to whether new Orleans can stop
Steve Smith and Greg Olsen. With a healthy Jabari Greer maybe the Saints can.
    Without Greer... No chance.

Also just read that Car feels NO ran up the score in the final game last year by keeping their starters in and throwing the rock late in the game. Also Newton supposedly was on the bounty list. Car covers this number imo.

yep... Newton was on the bounty list.

I have a feeling Brees is going to get rocked. If I'm a Panther linebacker like for example Jon Beason I'm putting a bounty on Drew Bees. Beason is a straight up thug too. I think he might do it.

Hell if i made the type of money those guys make i'd be like 50,000 if Drew Brees gets carted off the field today boys.

Hey football is a rough game, a barbaric game. what goes around comes around and this year the Saints are going to get whats coming to them.

84% of bets coming in on the Saints yet the line is still at Saints -2.5

    Very strange

You would have to be an idiot to take Panthers +2.5
you could still lose by a field goal. There is more value in Panthers ML

Maybe, but a missed extra point/safety could come into play. I would buy it up to 3 regardless and pay the juice. Think Car wins, but Brees may be in a zone. Wko knows.

It's going to get pounded down to -7 by gametime, and the Saints may very well cover that still.

Lack of movement is odd but I love this spot to see NO make a statement after last week. They have the talent to romp Carolina but it's obvious they are missing Payton. Don't under-sell the effect Payton had on this team - his one of the great in-game tacticians in the game today. Still, love NO this week. Once the addicts figure out what they have in the roll after College Saturday you will see this line move fast.

Absolutely shocked to see Breese throw early pick 6s in back-to-back games. This is something I expect from Tony Romo, not one of the elite QBs in the NFL. He has to take care of the ball early in the game, and that defence has to get better. Their coverage on a gimped Smith was spotty at best today.
