Doing the same thing in college and going to try it in NFL also. I'm always weary of wagering NFL but I'll give it a try. Skipping these 1 o'clock games didn't see anything I liked and playing the 4:25 games.
Week 2
Bears+5, Bears new offense should make this closer than last years games. Jennings being injured for Packers is going to slow them down. Only way Packers stop teams is with turnovers. Cutler is known to make some but I think he's going to be really effective tonight.
Panthers ML+130 I think theirs a little too much turnover going on with the Saints and these suspensions because of Bounty Gate. It's effecting this team a little more now than people thought at before the season started.
Rams+3, ML+128. Magic carpet ride for the Seahawks comes to an end this week. Both teams are mirror images of each other. Both teams rely on their defense's to keep them in game and hope that the offense can make enough plays to score and win the game. This game is going to come down to which QB can outplay the other. I'll go with Bradford at home. Wilson has done a good job so far, but I don't think he'll get it done here. I watched the game vs. the Packers and seemed most of the pass plays turned into scramble drills. I think the Rams can duplicate this same pressure and win the game.
Jets ML+173, Cheifs ML+107. I really like the Jets in this spot as an underdog. A lot has been made about the Revis injury but in game like this I don't think he'll be missed that much. 49er's have a nice recieving core but they don't throw the ball down the field a lot with Smith at QB. The 49er's will run the ball but the Jets will be up for the task. My only worry is the Jets(O) vs 49er's(D). Sanchez is like Smith but with less weapons, but if if the Vikings could move the ball against them I think the Jets can.
The Chargers are notorious for slow starts and Cheifs haven't had a lead in regulation so far this year. The Chargers started off 2-0 but got exposed last week. The Cheifs haven't played a full 4 quarters in a game yet but could be 2-2 if they do so today. I think they can run the the ball with Charles and make some plays downfield with Baldwin,Bowe, and Breaston. Chargers just dont have enough firepower to match the Cheifs.
Rams ML+112 This is looking like a low scoing defensive game, I'll take the home team. The Cards have suprised veryone so far this at 4-0. Three of their games have come down to the final possession. Their offense has done enough to win games but I'll think they'll need more than what they've been producing up to this point. The Rams defense has had 8 int. this season and I can see Kolb throwing 1 or 2 this game. Bradford has done a solid job this year and if he doesn't turn the ball over and makes a couple key throws the Rams D and homefield advantage will be too much for Cards.
Packers+5.5, Giants+6. I got the NY line last night glad I did since it moved. Two great matchups with elite qb's vs two of the top defense probally the most points these two teams will be spotted this year.
Browns ML+120, Browns hung in the first game in Cincy and should be able to give the Bengals all they want. I believe Haden coming back should be a nice boost for Cleveland and maybe a reversal of fortunes for them.
