New England's strong ground game and Miami's weak offense make the Patriots the right play at home today against the Dophins.

After throwing the ball 55 times against the Broncos on a Sunday night game in Week 3, Tom Brady returned to form last week at Cincy completing 15-of-26 for 188 yards (two TDs and one INT).

It helps when your team rushes for 236 yards! With Laurence Maroney (294 YR / 4.9 YPC) and Corey Dillon (236 YR / 4.1 YPC) giving the Pats one of the league's best RB combos, New England figures to get better as the year progresses and Brady gets into a rhythm with his receivers. The Pats' D must be salivating to face a Miami OL that has allowed a league-high 21 sacks and has contributed to a running game getting just 89.8 YPG (24th).

Daunte Culpepper has taken most of the heat, but he's far from the only culprit on this team. Miami ended last year on a six-game winning streak and hopes were high entering '06. But the Miami offense has averaged just 12.8 PPG. Miami's defense is OK but the rebuilt secondary just may have trouble with Brady if he continues to get help from the running game. Lay the points with the Pats.
