    i wonder if saban wouldve released trent richardson if he was a repeat offender. some coaches would do anything to keep their "aces" on the field, and some coaches need to flex their muscles and power.

    Wouldn't be so sure of that. NFL executives don't spend millions of dollars drafting players that have a drug rap including weed. Best thing was for him was to go to rehab and try to show that he is serious about living drug free. It could be the difference between playing in the NFL vs. the Arena league.
