Hard to believe Brees lasted until the 9th pick. Looks solid except for running backs. GL.

Very much lacking at the RB position. 2 complete unknown commodities. Could be your downfall.

Spiller might have a better year, but so far he has not done much. Plus I believe Fred Jackson is back from his injury.

ESPN draft analyst was high on Spiller being top 25 PPR RB this year. I dunno.

Spiller with have a good year. How good tho? Spiller and Fred Jackson are suppose to split 50/50. They want them to some how make it threw the season. Do any RB's do anyways? They will also use him split out. So you also could get some yards that way. Thats the plans coming out of Buffalo. He is a top 25 RB this year because of the touches but he has to prove it.

After pick 6, your draft went to hell.

Never draft a defense at 8. You could of got Ben Tate or someone of more use there.

Brees and Gronk will help you contend, but always keep a eye out on the FA List for those RB's that will fill the shoes of hurt starters.

Agree with onlooker here, drafting a D in the 8th is the dumbest thing you can do.

Don't like Moss, Spiller or Smith. SF maybe a little too early but not the worst team. SF defence is nice

Dude I hate to say it, but with your leagues setup, you did horrible. You always want to have a RB in your flex position and you hardly have 3 viable runners.

Kevin Smith isn't even a top 30 running back...I hope this isn't a money league.

Kevin Smith kicked a s s last year filling in for Jahved Best. Also he gets receptions. Guy is hungry to stay in the league too.

Wow, RB's are horrific. Both are backups or just slpitting carries.

But a fourteen team league sounds impossible to draft a balanced team.

Right now, I think he is top 30.

Best hasn't come off the PUP list, and if he doesn't by the regular season, that is at least 6 weeks he has to miss. Something tells me he misses the season.

Leshoure is coming of injury, and is suspended first two games. He is a unknown right about now.

Smith is the starter, and if healthy, he can be a good solid RB in that Lions offense. Not necessarily running, but catching out of the backfield.

I've never done PPR, so I don't know how much different certain players are valued... That said - you don't have a starting RB.

in a 14 team league you almost have to draft a RB in 1 of the first 2 founds. Brees was a solid pick at #9 but in the 2nd round you should've drafted a RB instead of Gronk. TE is a very deep position. And as stated above your late round needs improvement. I always laugh at the person taking the 49ers/texans d/st in the 8-10th round. So many other options you can take in that spot.

14 teamers are brutal. I like Stevie Smith (ex Giant) as late round sleeper. Manningham will disappoint.

It really depends on Roster. I can reach for an elite D/ST when the players at my specific drafting area are only marginal depth. Round 9 of a 14 rd draft, you are already well into the 100's. At that point the difference between top defenses and average defenses are a lot more than the potential depth picks (not accounting for getting lucky and drafting a break out player).

It is also the reason why I would be happy drafting a Kicker the rd. before last - just so I can get an upper end one. Getting Akers vs. Gould did pay dividends last season.

Bad bad bad RBs you have. Top 3 QB, No. 1 TE....decent top 2 WRs...after that, you don't have anything notable really. You missed big at addressing RB here...I think you'd maybe hang onto a bottom end playoff spot and likely get bounced 1st round, if you overachieved.

I'd give to a D+ for the fact that you have absolutely no RBs.

Most people never play 14+ team leagues so they are used to Brady, Rice, Forte, C.J., A.Johnson, Gronk and Aaron Rodgers as a back up QB.

Most of you guys know squat about fantasy judging by the responses here lol

No one bothered to even ask how the other teams did. Having 80% of your roster filled with studs usually goes a long way in 14-16 team leagues.

I just completed my second mock draft: Same Settings

    14 team PPR league (.5 point per reception , 10 yds rec = 1 point, 10 yds rushing = 1 point, 25 yards passing = 1 point, fumble = -2 points, INT = -2 points, TD = 6 point, FG = 0-30 yards = 3 points, 40-49 = 4 points, 50+ = 5 points)

    I drafted 6th out of 14 teams.

We start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, Flex (W/R), TE, K, DEF (6 bench players). Rate my team.....do I make the payoffs? (Top 6 teams make the post season)

    (1) Matt Forte
    (2) Fred jackson
    (3) A.J. Green
    (4) Steve Smith (Panthers)
    (5) Tony Romo
    (6) Brandon Pettigrew
    (7) Justin Blackmon
    (8) Rashard mendenhall
    (9) Houston DEF
    (10) Vincent Brown
    (11) Andy Dalton
    (12) Stephen Gostowski
    (13) Alshon Jeffery
    (14) Davon Bess
    (15) New Orleans DEF
    (16) Eddie Royal

Is this a better team than the first one I drafted? Playoff bound?
