What's with these Football Players thinking they are FAST?

First Chris Johnson, now Retard Robinson running his mouth.

Oh Yeah I'll get Bolt in the 40 because he's a slow starter. Look at my top 60 meter dash of 6.81

    A Russian chick runs 6.92

These kids would get beat by white guys from the 70's............

All these scouts feeding them BS 40 times really swells up their egos.

I know that Bolt ran a 6.31 in the first 60 meters of his 2009 WR run

    They are highly trained

Many women sprinters would beat nfl players also

Remember when Trindon Holliday was all the talk and breaking CJ's 40 yard time and that he ran 4.22 or whatever.

    Personal best in the 60m = 6.89

    You all are being stupid.

Most of the guys mentioned were sprinters/track stars in high school/college also, they trained at one point just like Bolt or any other olympic sprinter did - it's not outrageous to say they think they could take him, even if they wouldn't win, there's nothing wrong with a little trash talk here and there.

    Get over yourselves.

That's like me saying I could beat Lebron James because I played HS ball and trained like him.....

Who cares? Bolt couldn't take a single hit from a linebacker and get up.

Wide receivers can sprint better than Bolt could catch or take a hit. It is about being well-rounded if comparing.

RGIII's 110m hurdle time in HS would have placed him in the finals in the olympics in that event.

Is that according to HIS time? or his official best time of 13.46 which would NOT qualify him for the final and would come last.

Either way he'd get crushed. These guys and their scouts/agents make up times all their careers, can't take them seriously.

Marshall can't take a hit anyway.
Sanzenbacher is a monster too. lol Most NFL receivers are not that big yet they survive. Wes walker, steve smith, mike wallace, nate washington, d.jackson, too many to list.

Fast and quick are two different things. Football fast and track fast are two different things. Carolinas Steve smith is not the fastest wr, but he may be the most quick, tough, and elusive package in the nfl. Bolts straight line speed is nearly impossible to beat with other world class track athletes on a track, on grass at a combine for forty yards some of the fastest football players my give him a run.

yeah 100 meters vs 40 yard dash is not quite apples and oranges....

but they are further apart than you think..

let's say red delicious apples vs a green granny smith apple

bolt is a foot behing gatlin at 40 yards. gatlin could very well break 4.00 in an nfl timed 40 yd dash, at least that is what his 60m time equates to. bolt would easily beat any nfl'er over 40 yards, you dont know how fast 9.58 100m is

Put Bolt out of his territory, put him on grass and take away his spikes, in a 40 yard dash, I think Chris Johnson, Jamaal Charles, and a few others beat Bolt.

No idea, read an article about it quickly on yahoo a week or so back. Says he might think of being in the 2016 olympics.

Demps isn't that great of a sprinter. PR right around 10 seconds....

anyone know his 40 time? he wouldn't have done one at the combine due to training for the olympics and forgoing the draft

Big difference between running in a straight line on a track and running on grass with 15lbs of pads on while being chased by 300lb black men who almost run as fast as you can.

I imagine there are a few NFL players that could beat bolt in a 40 yard dash

bolt has optimal spikes, running surface, as well as starting blocks

That could shave off a lot of time for everyone doing equations

This guy ran a 4.37 in the forty at the combine and ran a 10.62 100 meters in high school, real fast. Your corners and safety's will get a real good look at him week one!
