    BY FAR my largest futures bet ever! NFL wins total

    I won't go into many details as no one cares about how much the bet is for. I bet 500-1000 a game normally and this is by far my largest play that I have ever made on a team total.
    Mainly because of injuries and the sheer fact of tying up money for 4-5 months. I did however have to spread my wager out amongst a few places, laying as much as -120/-115/-125

    Ok lets get to the bet

    Rams over 6 wins

    I understand the lambs were awful last year which only makes the bet even easier to make. If you guys can think back to last year the rams were a darling pick in 2011 (before the season started)
    Well they had a shit coach and were also very injured. So lets now take a look at this years team.
    They are in a weak division imo. I understand 49ers killed it last year and I expect them to do well again this year. But this bet is NOT to win the division but to win 7 games (even winning 6 you don't lose)
    I expect the rams to play .500 ball and finish 8-8 making this bet to tough to pass up.
    The rams have a very solid QB with more experience and who is hungry for wins after a under performing 2011. a solid running game and they get WR help with adding the "other" steve smith.

    Fisher is arguably one of the best motivating coaches in the league. He will squeeze everything out of his players. You can't argue with Fisher's track record and the team will be up for every game this season and could play as a great dog throughout the season.

    Those are my thoughts thus making a good size wager.

    I agree with you, have the Rams at 8-8 also and I see at worst this bet pushing. Fisher is a huge factor

    I don't like it, Rams improvement under Fisher won't become evident until next season. Still way too many holes on both sides of the ball.

    Rams, Bucs, Jags and Browns have QB problems and will be first to draft Matt Barkley.

    Bradford could have a bad season again but depends on how good his receiving core is.

    My only prediction is they'll win more games than last year.

    I don't like their schedule that much either, better hope for some early wins.

    Wear and tear on Jackson, if he gets hurt they win 2 games. Takes at least a year with the new coach. Lost their best WR and their DEF is sorry. Not a fan, but GL!

    jeff fisher is one of the worst coaches to ever coach more than 1 season in the nfl.

    sam bradford is a bust.

    no wide receivers

    not an elite defense by any stretch of the imagination




    the rams will get worse. i expect 4-5 wins tops
